SURPRISE! This is why the LP episode was 10 mins late today, hah. I was so caught up with making timelapses, I didn't see the time go by. Hope y'all enjoy the exploration. The baby llama was called Kuzco, I wonder how many Emperors New Groove References people will make. Also the differences between a llama and alpaca are size and ear shape, one has banana shaped ears, the other is more rectangular. Can't remember off the top of my head as to which. 🙂

Can’t believe how much effort you put into building all this! It feels so weird to see another zoo, I’m so used to the different mountain view but this one looks gorgeous too. The aesthetic with the habitats is very pleasing. Speaking of looking good, I think the animation of leopards’ jumps looks better than what the snow leopards performed at Elite Zoo, at least in the beginning. Loved to hear the soundtrack that was used a lot in the earlier episodes, it instantly gave me a nostalgic feeling, hah. I was also reminded quite vividly of Eldorado the first time you mentioned the ball arena and before that of Kuzco/Emperor’s new groove. And the baby llama was even named after him!

I just wanna say that, because of the Emperor's New Groove and how much I loved it as a kid, I constantly say 'good llama' or 'bad llama'. Which, in turn, is why llamas are one of my absolute favorite animals ever. And hearing you say 'llama, llama, llama, llama' when you were looking actually made me laugh, cuz I dead do the same thing. I love llamas. They're such sassy bastards. And I'm excited to see if/when you bring one of my favorite animals into you Planet Zoo LP. Also, for the record, in my opinion at least, your voice is actually really soothing to listen to. I've legit restarted your LP multiple times when I need something to lay down and get some rest to just cuz I love hearing you geek out over how adorable the animals are and you seem mad easy-going and calm, which is always nice to come across on youtube. So, no, your voice definitely doesn't get grating. But always rest it whenever you need to. Take care of yourself! And thank you for putting so much work into your channel. I know it isn't easy and it's always nice to feel like I'm hanging out with a friend when I come to your channel (even tho we totally don't know each other whatsoever). Stay safe, Party!

I loved the review of the new dlc! You should definitely do more of these videos as they come out with more down the line! I can't wait to see what you end up implementing in Elite Zoo North. I really liked how you read over the zoo pedia info for each animal, I really think you should implement that for the animals you add in the future to EZN! It's really good to get the information out there, plus gives you more of an idea of what to put on the education boards near the enclosures. Love your videos, recently started watching your mount and blade 2 videos too. Keep them coming party! :]

Hey Party, I just wanted to hop in and pass on some feedback. I've been pretty burned out with PlanZoo -- I took the plunge during Beta and played the crap out of the game, but it was pretty buggy and frustrating at the time and I've never been able to fully get back into it. Part of that has also been that a lot of the PlanCo players I watch have also been burned out. I know you have your own PlanZo series, but I never really got into it despite being a huge fan of your strategy games. After seeing this video, I am pumped to play the DLC, and will definitely be returning to your other planzo LPs!

So, I actually do work at a Zoo, and the animals I work with the most right now are Llamas and Horses (have previously worked with Sea Lions and I would be elated if PZ could do marine mammals someday.) So, if you truly want to know how to tell the difference between Llamas and Alpacas, Llamas have banana-shaped ears, while Alpacas have round ears. Llamas are also generally larger, and they have coarser hair (fiber,) Alpacas have finer, silkier fiber and more of it, which is also considerably more expensive.

Love all the new animals and variety of build pieces available! When you get these animals in your zoo, it would be cool to give the jaguar a more naturalistic habitat. I like the whole historic playing field idea but I think Jaguars really belong in dense jungle. For me part of the fun of jaguars in zoos is that you generally have to hang out around the enclosure for a while before you find it because of the camouflage! One of my friends has both llamas and alpacas, I love them! Some of their animals are actually certified therapy animals so they can visit schools, retirement homes, etc. Llamas are larger than alpacas and have a longer face and ears. Llamas tend to have less hair on the head/face than alpacas. Alpacas generally have finer, denser fleece than llamas, as fiber was their primary purpose, while llamas were more for packing. Both species are multi purpose though. (Fiber and sometimes meat for alpacas, packing, fiber, and sometimes meat for llamas). The species are closely related enough that cross breeding is possible (generally with sterile offspring). Llamas are tougher and more independent than alpacas, and are often used as herd guards for alpacas, sheep, etc. (So funny enough, it's the llamas that REALLY "pac-a punch") 😁

Hi Party, your coverage of the DLC was awesome! Can't wait to see them in your usual series. Maybe you could put these new animals that can share a space with the Baird's tapir in your franchise series. Maybe push the tavern a bit back for the extension. That is before you do your Africa section, add the south Americas animals. I as a South African can't wait for the Africa section. However, I have enjoyed learning more about the north and south americas areas animals. And that of further up north like Canada. And I would like see how you add these animals. 👍🙃

I accidentally lost my big post but a couple key points: Tlaloc is a Nahua deity, so only regionally appropriate for the jaguar, not the others. You didn't pronounce it right but at least it could be understood. The moss boulders are new to the free update. Previously that dynamic effect was only used for snow and rain. Since jaguars are so jumpy, it would be good to give them a habitat with a lot of verticality in franchise. Same with the llamas, you can see that they can take pretty steep slopes when you looked at the baby's traversable area, it could go up the railings on the stairs. I assume the adult could handle the angle but just not the width. So maybe you could to a big mountain with jaguars on one side and llamas on the other (since their aesthetic is different so that way there's a more unified visual theme) and then in the valley below jaguar mountain can be a big walking exhibit with anteaters and capuchins. The reason the monkeys can't go on the housetop is because of the angle. Getting them to go down from an upward-angled climbing piece to normal ground doesn't work well. They didn't go on your climbing platforms because there was nothing there for them to go to. You can get black panthers confirmed but I bet it'll cost 10k credits in Franchise because nobody's gonna sell that cheap. Not related to this video but those ropes you put in the red panda exhibit have now been made climbable.

Hey Party, I've got some fun facts for you about jaguars. Though in the game it doesn't say that they live in Argentina, they do in the north of the country and are commonly known as "yaguaretés". In fact, the Super Rugby team from my country is called "los jaguares" (the jaguars) after them, the logo of the Argentine Rugby Union is a jaguar, and we have a banknote with an image of them and in the reverse the "yungas", the typical ecoregion in which they live. Apart from the llamas, we have similar animals like guanacos (also featured in a banknote), vicuñas and alpacas. I'm looking to forward to see these animals in your let's play (which I watch all the time)!

If I'm remembering correct, don't quote me, but Central and South America was know for its abundance of gold and turquoise with the Aztecs and Inca in relation to gods. That might be why you can't change the color of the gold to make things like silver, copper, and whatnot. They weren't important to the region the way gold was. Also capuchin do spend a fair bit of time on the ground compared to other monkies. I'm so exited to see how you continue with EliteZoo and all the cuteness that is planet zoo. You're not the only one that loves the ear wiggles 😁
