Glad to see one of my favourite packs ever made it all the way to number 3! Even though almost four years have passed, I still can't do anything without my beloved Australian wooden signs, rusted metal poles, corrugated iron roof and those AMAZING logs. A bit disappointed to see Eurasia on the other end of the list, but hey to each their own taste! Great video

Have to say, the wetlands pack is my favorite. Platypus, Caiman, Capybara, Otters. And the planted wood from the aquatic pack has to be the most useful piece

One thing that I miss when playing Planet Zoo, are references of the plants and animals in their natural habitat, so I can use it as a reference to make the environment look more natural. There are many species of plants and animals idk much about or know very little about what their natural habitat looks like It's not all that practical to close the game of the time looking for pictures on the internet

Having just bought the game I'd have to buy the North American Pack first. Sea Lions are a must for me, I also love the aligator and mountain lion. I personally think we need more monkey species in the game, and bird species too. Also interesting fact about the Racoon and the Coati, they are now banned from being bred in Europe. It was decided because if a breeding population of these animals was to escape they could cause massive damage to the ecosystem.

Sea Lions are top tier in zoos. If you like Penguins I recommend checking out my new series Bellemont Zoo as we start with an African Penguin habitat 😁

7:23 The Amur Leopard isnt the only leopard in the game technically. There are also snow leapords and clouded leapords

Dlc ranking are super subjective, it really depends on the person's preference for animals, decor, etc. For me I love the conservation pack, and don't like the barnyard pack, though I've seen a lot if people with those two swapped as their favorite/least favorite

Curious about the souvenir shops on console. I was under the impression that we got all the updates but the shop shelves are not in the game. And since the souvenir shops were an update not a pack i dont know why they are not on console? Any word on this???!?!?!?

If they add a new pack, it should be the Raptor Pack, full of all the big birds with an aviary of some sort. Problem is, in real life, raptors either get free roam or they kill themselves bc they're trapped in a small space. dunno how they do it, but they better

I personally judge the DLCs solely on the animals. Which why I say the North American Animal Pack is the best and the Twilight Pack is the worst. Also something to note about the Grasslands Animal Pack, if you at the choices of the Caracal, Striped Hyena and Blue Wildebeest, all of them seem like very odd choices since caracals and striped hyenas aren’t that common in zoos, and we already have a hyena and wildebeest species. However, anyone who’s played Zoo Tycoon 2 will know these three are part of the African Adventures DLC, and if you look at some of the other DLC animals, you’ll notice a lot of them come from the two Zoo Tycoon games. So my theory is that we could be getting all the animals from both Zoo Tycoon games before support ends for Planet Zoo just as long as they can be kept in captivity, are alive and real. These include the Markhor, Nile Crocodile, Emperor Penguin, Blackbuck, Honey Badger, Secretary Bird, American Black and a whole bunch of other animals
