Our model is the ST Line X, apologies therefore a better spec than ST Line - Panoramic, 360 etc - we didn't know this until the vehicle had to zip off as it had been sold :)

Great review. Ford make the best handling SUV’s. All major points well covered. Top marks.

Thank you Michael for the kind words, yes these latest models have really impressed, Puma being my favourite in ICE and Explorer being EV, yet the Kuga has come so far too.

It's a very smart beast and makes a lot of sense as a car. Great review as ever!

Hi Ben, not been a fan of Ford’s for many years, however this particular model has caught my eye, especially as it is a self-charging hybrid. I must admit it ticks at lot of boxes in the styling and interior design. Be good to see a road trip in one to check out the real world economy, with a 2.5 litre engine an economy of 70 mpg is pretty good. Love it in that blue colour too. Great review 👍

Thank you George, yes Ford are at an interesting point, not quite Jag yet but with phasing out ICE and stopping production of virtually all there vehicles, what’s next. Hopefully Kuga remains as you say it’s an impressive vehicle.

Pls could you share us more of your experience with the suspension. ( btw the rear is with torsion but no multi-link that’s why i have some concerns re the comfort

Ah interesting it handled well and offered a comfortable ride, best bet test drive one Andro, and come back to us 😀

@ hi , i did but they had only 4x4 which is on multi link - great handling , ride a lit bit on the firm side but not uncomfortable. They assured me that all have same ride comfort..

I would test the other one when you get chance it didn’t feel too firm, or too jelly, mind you it’s down to personal preference, I like different feels responsiveness for different vehicles.

I like the Kuga but I love the Focus. We own both and I’m gutted the Focus is going in favour of the likes of the Explorer and Puma.

It’s sad to see all the great Ford cars we grew up with disappear. Thank you, @Liverpool1ne

@ I’ve owned 7 of them since the mk1 so it’s literally been part of my life growing up. As a household we have had around 12 Fords in total in the last 20 years including the Focus, C-Max and Kuga. Such a shame that choices are being taken away like this. I enjoyed your review 👍🏻

@Liverpool1ne quite literally end of an era my first car was a Sierra, 3 Orions then 2 Fiestas then Golf, Cavalier, Galant, Civic and our latest 6 years ago C124 Mercedes.

I have a brand new AWD Hybrid ST-Line X. Brilliant - but mpg is nearer 45-50 for the AWD and 50-55 for the front wheel drive. NOT 70 as per this review. Even the Ford Dealerships don't suggest 70.
@PlanetautoUK6 күн бұрын
We never road tripped it therefore we didn’t try economy however I’ve achieved 70 plus with similar HEVs, the key is knowing how to leverage the powertrain.
@JonathanPerrett6 күн бұрын
@@PlanetautoUK Maybe. But in normal non aggressive driving, in the AWD it's between 40 and 50mpg. Great car - and FWD is more frugal.

NO KNOBS! DANGEROUS DISTRACTING TOUCHSCREEN! No way would I buy this.

All new cars are like this. And screen is very practical, simple and not distracting. I imagine you will not be buying a new car of any type?
