About Planetbase:
Planetbase is a strategy game where you guide a group of space settlers trying to establish an outpost on a remote planet.
In Planetbase you play the role of the base architect and manager, telling your colonists where to build the structures they will need to survive. You will have to ensure that they have a constant supply of oxygen, food and water to stay alive.
You will get them to collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a fully self-sufficient base.
Even if Planetbase is not intended to be a simulator, all the mechanics are plausible, and based on what the expected challenges of establishing a colony in an new planet would be.

WHOA! the new intro is Rad IGP! Also they should add like a paradise planet where its lush in flora and water and it looks beautiful! But you would have to worry about the creatures that come out at night. So if your colonists are out during the night they're dead. But the creatures dont come out for the first 5 nights to at least let you get the command center.

OK for a beginner I suppose, but you need to understand some more of the core principles of gameplay in this game. For example, you started out by building 2 small and 1 medium solar panel. Each of those 3 is going to require repair kits to maintain, as well as an engineer's time (or repair bot). A single large solar panel would have been more space efficient, as well as saved you 2/3 repair packs and repair time. Your two water extractors were also a waste of space when you could have simply built one large one at the start. When starting out, always immediately build a large solar panel and power collector. This way the collector has the maximum amount of time to charge up before nightfall. Then build water extractor, oxygen generator, and airlock. Build a canteen and water fountain so your colonists can get water. Build a dorm and beds, then let them sleep. When they wake up you can build the rest of the stuff. Never use fast-growing food plants unless you're in a bind and need food or starch quickly. They need too much maintenance for biologists to keep up with them. Your colonists need 'complex meals' to prevent malnutrition, so grow the appropriate plants and vitromeat. steamcommunity.com/app/403190/discussions/0/483367798514654678/

One thing I like to do in this is leave the med bay powered down until I see someone in injured. It only takes 1 power, but every bit helps in the early run

I recently started my first Class F planet game and I've found it to be easier than the Class D for some reason. The random asteroids were harder to deal with than occasional blizzards to me personally

One of the things I did for a base layout was put the canteen in the center and then build out from there. Also, make sure you get wheat/maize with tomatoes so you avoid malnutrition and end up rendering your colony sterile.

Reply to this about if you had the ability to create a planet in planet base, what would be the planet you make and what generic features would there be. For me, there would be a Water planet that's basically in the good spot that water can live on. you either have to create floatation devices to make your base above land, where your safe (for now). But its very expensive. for 1 floatation device that can hold even a 7 7 Bio-Dome It costs 10 bio plastic. If your starting, you can create all your base on the ocean floor. It doesn't cost anything extra, and you can pick what depth you want it to be. The lower, the more dangerous, the more resources. Also, there will be 3 milestones I would think HAVE to be included . 1 is collected by making a base fully above the water until you get every milestone you can make while doing this(You can only get metal/ore from trading ships, but if you freeze the water (costs a lot, you likely get a freezer mid game) it can be turned into Ore (I don't know the logic but it sounds cool so f it!))) 1 milestone would be to just live in the twilight zone (Harder than the suicide planet) and 1 would be to live in between. This would be hard because you cant collect the heavy resources from the twilight zone, but you cant use solar panels that you can use on the surface. To get power inbetween and in the twilight zone you would have to create an artificial way (exercise bike. Doesn't give you much power. Or a continuous hydro-cycle you attach a watermill to) Uh oh wait, this comment is long af. hmm. make your replys this long pls. it took me an hour to come up with this idea XD
