ProtoMario Games that turn close quarters. If people rush with shotgun they might want an auto rifle to put a little more range while still being deadly up close. Yes I know not much range but they are where they're suppose to be in terms of range. Range: Auto Rifle (tier4)< Hand cannon < Pulse Rifle < Scout Rifle (tier1). An auto rifle shouldn't beat a scout rifle at ranged, and a scout rifle should beat a auto rifle in close range. (although the weapon and user may argue this)

Dont forget about the Fate of All Fools scout rifle. There will be 2 new scout rifles in the dlc. One of them is Fate of All Fools. It is absolutly insane. each body shot kill adds a multiplyer and once you land a precision it takes all the body damage and makes it do that much precision. I head the guy who got it one shot atheon on hard because he body shot everything all the way to atheon then precision shot him. It will be vary difficult to get though. It will be an exotic bounty dealing with you having to do very well in trials of osiris. Oh and the way the person got it before the dlc is bungie sent it to him as a gift. He had many brain sugerys and was told to play destiny to help take his mind off of things. Bungie herd of him and sent him fate of all fools.

Just my two cents, It's kind of sad to see all the glorious auto rifles, both in PvP and PvE, become next to useless. With Xur selling the Red Death last week, PvP and the Iron Banner will become nothing but Pulse Rifle burst-fest. I can understand that Bungie might want to diversify weapon use, but the majority has become the minority. Auto Rifles should have stayed the way it was.

Krzy Rick IIRC, "proc" means process which is usually used when something like a buff activates. So basically he's saying that the extra damage from TLW's hipfire perk still works even when you ADS. I agree too.

I used No Land Beyond for the Iron Banner, actually went over 2.0 in most games with it simply because people underestimate it. And for those of you asking, yes. Most of my kills did, in fact, come directly from the No Land Beyond, though I obviously obtained a few melee/grenade/heavy/super kills but that's besides the point. The gun rewards anyone who knows how to control the board intelligently. Not every situation is about rushing your enemy with brute force ;)

i would honestly take Dragons breath, Gjalihorn, and Truth in the same tier 2 category for 3 reasons 1.) Tracking and I have never been friends in this game whenever i try to aim at a target in PvP (like Snipers that like to hang in the corner of the map and are a pain to take out cause they have good sight of you) the tracking messes up my shot and hits a wall because it finds a closer target and poop lost rocket. 2.) the blast radius and solar grenade effect make holding off opponents easy (i usually play support from afar or counter-sniper, and the Dragons breath does that for me the Truth makes things difficult because of the proximity blast, cause it never fails that when it tracks an opponent that i want it to track it will most likely blow up prematurely cause a random enemy will walk nearby and explode and kill an opponent that did not matter. 3.) i prefer planed shots rather than blind firing cause TRACKING

Disagree on one point: The Red Death. It is either Tier 2, or Tier 1.5, but it is closer to the Bad Juju(esp. Voidwalker Obsidian build) than it is to the Thorn/Hawk/Last Word. The Red Death perk is neutralized by DoT, so anyone running Thorn just turns it into a regular PR w/ good stats. Red Death loses badly to blink/slide Shotgun, while the Last Word/Thorn will trade at worst.

It's garbage. Even lo land beyond is more useful, because at least you can shoot from a safe distance. The low impact coupled with the abysmal rate of fire makes it feel like a green weapon, and on top of that it takes away your exotic slot.

i think you may be misinterpreting exotics in destiny, they aren't all meant to be more powerful than the legendary weapons. exotics are supposed to be unique to the destiny universe in their looks and how they work compared to the stock-ish type weapons between uncommon to legendary, at times an exotic can be more powerful than a legendary and vice-versa. anyway have fun with destiny :)

I think MIDA should be Tier 1. It's perks and fast movement sticks to its name since it can be used in all situations except when in small corridors with shotgunners. Its damage is actually quite good and it can kill in 4 shots!

You can't buy Hawkmoon from Xur as far as I know. Between the other two, they are both great choices. Last Word and Red Death really excel at 1v1 encounters, Red Death giving you the power to chain kill enemies with it's healing perk. The Last Word however, as PlanetDestiny said, is the King of 1v1 encounters with it's high fire rate and impact. Both Red Death and Last word can 2 shot, but Last Word does it better cause of it's higher fire rate. I'd say it's your personal preference, do you wanna be a space cowboy that wins every 1v1 battle, or a heavily feared killing machine from hell? You can't really go wrong with either choice. It's just your own personal preference, I love Hand Cannons and the cosmetic feel of Last Word, so I bought Last Word Instead, when Xur sold it.

PlanetDestiny I'd have to say No Land Beyond is actually at the very bottom at Tier 3. If you become sneaky with it, learn to aim directly at the head, and figure out the reload cancel, you can become unstoppable in any mid to long range 1v1 scenario. The learning curve is just really damn high.

The bad ju ju is actually really good I feel it deserves tier 1 because you can go from winning one gunfight into the next without reloading. And you get extra damage for a short time. With the full auto that it comes with just makes it so much better.

One of my friends was trying to convince me that No Land Beyond was a decent weapon. Upon investigation, his reasoning was that it's a one shot kill with a headshot... why would you waste a primary slot that could be filled with so many better weapons for a "one shot kill?" As you said, the time between shots feels like an eternity and the iron sights move around way to much. I still wish that I could show him how much the gun actually sucks, but he's a stubborn bastard.

I'm curious as to why Thunderlord isn't in tier 1. It can effectively collect more kills that Gjallarhorn or Truth due to be a machine gun, and it has the best perks out of any machine gun. While it's primary perk may become irrelevant, it's stats and the sound it makes certainly makes any game changer just from being used.

I think Bad Juju is good enough to be tier 1. Its time to kill is pretty close to Red Death but also gives you bonus super energy, a damage bonus that makes it kill super fast, and a free reload. You can potentially never have to reload this gun.

Personally I believe the universal remote should be bumped up because despite the shotgun nerf, the main perk increases range when zoomed in along with the send it perk for even more range. Combine it with a fusion or a sniper rifle and you have a very hard hitting combo, great for close quarters control maps.

4th horseman aint as bad as you make it out to be, have you tried it since the pulse rifle buff? It now fires slower and hits really hard plus the gave it barrel options to increase the range which it previously did not have, still not as good as invective though, its a tier 3 weapon in my opinion

Personally, I find the Universal Remote to be both extremely effective and provide immense versatility. Pair it with a high rate of fire, low impact sniper rifle with a low/mid-zoom scope option like Praedyth's Revenge and you can easily one shot guardians at any range. Despite the shotgun nerf, Universal Remote is still usable at much longer ranges than most regular shotguns, and the headshot damage bonus is quite sizable for being so reliable and consistent. Overall, if used in combination with a good sniper rifle, I'd say Universal Remote can be tier one quality for the sheer versatility it offers.

I don't know... If you know how to use it, necrochasm, husk of the pit and eidolon ally can be devastating. You land about 15-20 shots on them then they'll fall. A single mag is around enough for two guardians in PVP...

Hard Light is actually pretty good for me, it's sporadic recoil makes it easier to hit strafing targets and the bouncing bullets increase that, I often find myself shredding through enemies a lot with it.

I feel like Thunderlord is one of those weapons that can be considered Tier 1. The only downside is that rockets will kill you faster than the machine gun can, but you can get massive killstreaks with it though. I regularly use it from heavy spawns until the next time heavy is spawned and continue to use it.

I believe Ice Breaker should be in between for tier 1 and 2. Reason being is that if you have a better special exotic you can switch between the two for ammo instead of waiting for it to spawn.

+Alessandro Albarello for me, its da 4th horseman. theres a vid of a guy tha got a 27 kill streak with horseman, and 50 kills the whole match. 4th horseman is by no means a horrible weapon, its great with my "in ur face" playstyle. so with it on my sunsinger I have sunbreakers (increases xpecial reload speed), and I have blink to get in their face. a fully upgraded horseman is a force to be reackoned with.

Of course, u need a good ranged weapon like a scout rifle to back it up in primary slot, but I like the way I can send 5 rounds straight to ur face in 2 seconds, cuz thats how I play. It isnt often that I lose a fight with horseman. Also, kind of relating to what u said, there is no best weapon for everyone as a whole, it really depends on playstyle, 4th horseman depending on an in ur face/quick reaction type of build. Shotguns have always been my go to, and 4th horseman just suits me best since I can get in their face, and spray and pray, and since it has fastest firerate EVER, I dont have to worry about being slower. Just personal preference as me and my bro (who are hardcore 4th horseman fans) just hate to see this awesome weapon mistreated so. For my playstyle, No land beyond is a different story, but I judge no one. What do u hink?

So realistically, if you use the fan fire on hawkmoon or thorn, they'd be like a thorn or hawkmoon mixed with the last word. Cause it's just the technique of waving your arm around while shooting.

To be honest, I consider NLB a tier 2. It's a high mobility sniper. Scope movement should be expected from most snipers. Especially a snipe' n' go weapon. This why it's primary. So you can also use your high range sniper. That's why It's made for all ranges, except salad tossing close. It's high mobility, people shouldn't be getting that close. Also, the reason for it's perk.

4th horseman is really good in my opinion i really enjoy using it and i have fun with it, you just have to get close enough. Blink is the way to go with it as you can blink behind the enemy.

Personally I'd say Bad Juju is a tier 1 weapon, but only in teh hands of a seasoned pulse rifle user. The auto fire on it makes its time to kill a little faster than most, and I've out-gunned people with Red Death and even Thorn with it. Of course running it with any offensive super class is great too.

Bad juju is three bursts to the head, red death is two, with different fire rates. Two sides of the pulse rifle coin

Different perks too. Red Death is made for agressive combat, right in the face, getting shot at back and killing them first. Bad Juju is about more reserved play, picking people off to build up your super to help the team.

Using extended mag and agressive balistics on hard light actually works really well and gives the weapon a fast kill time, but should be reserved for mostly short to mid range maps like anomaly. Imo, I think hard light should be tier 2

I love using the Universal Remote and I have found that it can save your life when your secondary shotgun (or sniper) is out of ammo, you can switch and blast your opponent in the face. I think it should be in the Tier 2 or with some leeway tier 1

Thunderlord does have the hidden blue firefly effect...dunno if it's the same as Necrochasm? I only seem to be good at sniping...better...I'm not good, with Patience and Time...dunno if the sway or scope move slower, but I'm able to be on target more often?!!

these exotic weapons in my opinion are all just as good as eachother. everyone cries how bad no land beyond is and im using it and got 20.0 ratio in crucible control. these weapons were meant for different play styles and clearly depends on how talented you are with that controller in your hand ;)

This is just a personal preference, but I feel that The Last Word should be in first place instead of Hawkmoon, simply because Hawkmoon has a slower rate of fire and because of those 3 bonus damage bullets, missing a shot with Hawkmoon is much more of a burden on you than missing a shot with The Last Word.

Generic Gamer It really depends on what type of Crucible game you are playing. For skirmish or free for all I would say that TLW is better because it is meant for one on one fighting. For bigger games like clash or control I would say Hawkmoon is better because it has a larger clip size and higher impact.

I think ice breaker should be bumped up to Tier 2 because how good it is in PvE but I guess its because this is a PvP list. So will there be a PvE list in like a week or so?
