I have Mercury in Gemini in the 5th house on my chart. Growing up, my family thought I would become a teacher because it was easy for me to teach kids and keep them engaged. I rebelled and went into banking but now I'm back to working with children with autism and love the interactions!

A while, while back, there was a show on tv that was about the study of human singing voice. They said that some people were born to be singers due to a special vibrato in their voices and to prove their point, they gave some examples. The singers that they studied and mentioned were all Gemini singers: Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartny and someone else who I now forgot. I remember that show because it confirmed something that I have already noticed, that when a Gemini can sing, they are truly great.

One of my favorite placements on my chart!!! Loved seeing the famous examples you provided. I feel like my Scorpio ascendant has me a bit more “fixed” about certain things, although I believe that the fickle Gemini stereotype is often misunderstood. We just want to learn, explore, and understand as much as possible (at least from my experience)! (I do have a lot of Sag/Gemini though.) The curiosity, adaptability, and the consideration of multiple perspectives are always there. I had three courses of study in college, speak multiple languages, have gone through a major career change, and have started work in multiple fields where I knew nothing and built myself from scratch.

I don't have Mercury in Gemini, but as someone with a pretty Mercurial chart (rules my Asc and Moon) much of this is very relatable! I've always been very adaptable, and someone who can understand many different points of view, even when I don't agree. I've always thought of it as being able to quickly switch between many camera lenses or photo filters, while the image itself remains the same.

Mercury in Gemini, (with my sun, 7 degrees apart) in the 9th, I can relate to all of this. Voracious appetite for knowledge, research; I love communicating about ideas, all perspectives and can play devil's advocate. Also, I'm resourceful, adaptable, flexible and open minded. I love all things travel, business, media and communication related.

Gemini rising, mercury (and mars) in Gemini. I am a copywriter working for an internet agency and I am a life coach. Recently quit job nr 3. Love writing, reading (too much and too fast, sometimes sloppy reading), analyzing, dealing with all kinds of people. I'm a Cancer sun with Mercury in Gemini. I love this placement, though it does make for an interesting challenge when speaking with people who aren't quick on the uptake. I've had to learn patience and how to state my thoughts completely before moving on to another topic, as I'd lose my friends in conversation rather quickly 😅

My Merc is in Gemini conjunct Venus in the 5th House. Versatile, social, clever, (ok, smart) flexible, reader, synthesizer, info disseminator, analyzer, etc, etc. At one point, I worked 4 careers simultaneously, Realtor, paralegal, astrologer, Reiki practitioner and volunteered on weekends. But as a Sun Cancer, the strong Merc also balances my Mars conjunct Uranus also in Cancer. Only earth to ground me is Cap Asc.

My daughter has Mercury in Gemini (along with her Sun and Saturn). She's a singer, songwriter, and musician, and she can play a number of different instruments. Her whole life she's been able to pick up different instruments and learn them quickly. She plays in different bands, with different musical styles. And she has a good ear for languages as well. She changes her mind a dozen times in the time it takes me to make a single decision about any given thing.

I’m a natal Sun in Gemini with Mercury also in Gemini in the 8th house. I find these descriptions accurate. I’m definitely into breaking ideas apart and as a trade am in business development with a very high success level in that field. My job is based on being able to communicate information to clients clearly so I feel grateful for this aspect on my natal chart. Thanks for the great video!

I have Mercury at 00.12 in Gemini . Also Sun 6’ & DC 00. 31 Gemini. When I was a kid I used to take everything apart, to see how they work! That was my heaven , but I wasn’t great at putting things back together again 😅

We are a cookey bunch for sure. Jordan Peterson & myself share a trine from Mercury to Saturn in Aquarius & there definitely is a quality of being able to talk on and on and on for hours if there are not good boundaries set by the environment. It can be draining for everyone involved for sure. We drop in to a stream of conscious thought and lead you through a series of tunnels as we attempt to wrap the final point around. The negative side of this is word salad to drive a point home or achieve an aim if we aren’t careful. Also the lesson for this placement could be learning when the abundance of words are an over compensation for feelings that need to be felt in the body. I also have restless legs syndrome but that could be because Mercury in 7th makes an exact opposition to my ascendant in Sagittarius representing the legs (I think.) Thanks Achyuta! i was halfway listening and didnt realize that this was mercury in gemini. my merc is in gemini. in my 7th house along with my sun in taurus. funnily enough because of other placements in my chart, a couple of other astrologers that read my chart said that I had a lot of prince energy and that i should channel him. im also a recording artist lol. interesting.

I also have a very similar chart to Prince. Sun, moon, mercury, uranus & neptune in same signs/houses, plus Scorpio rising. I can see some similarities between us for sure, but I was never much of a fan. I've been studying his chart to better understand how these similar placements manifest differently and also to help me see myself more clearly. It's been eye opening in some ways.

@@robbind1068 im definitely a fan of his work but my dad is also a musician and played his music a ton as a kid. i do feel that i encompass a lot of prince's energy though. even musically I produce entire records by myself much like he did. im not as flamboyant as he was with clothing but i 100% have my own style and its often attracted people to me in networking settings. i can see it.

I think you hit on almost every possible mercury in Gemini theme that has manifested in my life, period. sun and mercury in Gemini in the 7th house opposing my ascendant conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius with Uranus.( Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th). I aman absolute walking contradiction. I love to "debate" anything just for the purpose of debating. But I honestly don't even need anyone else to argue with I can argue with myself just fine any day. Exalted Mars in Capricorn in the 2nd house (and Neptune) opposing Venus in 8th house in cancer. My only real issue is that everyone always thinks that I'm trying to fight with them or argue with them or prove them wrong, when really my only goal is to have someone else to bounce ideas back and forth with to find the truth! If I'm wrong prove me wrong period but until then don't tell me I'm wrong if I am I will admit to it . Because I don't care if I'm right or wrong I don't care if you're right or wrong; I just want to figure out what's right so we can know what is right!!! Mercury and Venus reside in my natal Gemini 5th house square to my Virgo 8th house Moon. Mercury was standing stock still and turned direct the day after I was born. Mercury is sole dispositor -- every single planet in my chart is ruled by that tricksy stationary planet, either directly or through the Virgo Moon. Can you say 'mercurial?' 🤣🤪🙄 I can attest to all the descriptors -- adaptable, changeable, smart, flighty, talkative... whatever. I endlessly gather information, some useful, some not. In my long life, I have found it hard to stick to anything because EVERYTHING is interesting and I'm good at many things. Age has helped to bring perspective. Oh, and I have two sons, not twins though (5th house Gemini.)

What about Mercury, Mars and Venus all in Gemini? Me, my sister and our female cousin have this combination, talk about ancestral karma 😅😅 This stellium is in my 11th house. People are always drawn to me so I always have a lot of friends, but as the Sun in Cancer in my 12th house, I find I can’t be too close to anyone. I don’t like to, maybe. Interesting that we could think so opposite. Jordan Peterson strikes me as a strong Jupiter person not a Mercury person.

Peterson is a dialectical thinker far more than he presents any particular dogma or ideology, and he frequently speaks out against ideologies because he feels they interfere with individuation (ideology = Jupiter). He tends to anger and receive the projections of liberal Jupiterian types as far as I can tell...not that I'm the world's biggest fan of Peterson...but I also don't think he's the hateful person that many people like to make him out to be. That's just me. I don't regularly ingest his content or anything, but I've done some exploring to get a feel for him over the years and think he fits the Mercury archetype very very well.
