I think the threat to spook the horses(and there were numerous threats) was reason alone to have high security. Any protest which threatens harm needs to be taken seriously. Hi I am a white a mother of one boy. I live in central London in a predominant Asian. My son went to a predominant Asian school. He played with children attend the school. During the school run we use to meet all the children and parents going on the same direction towards the school. When the Asian children ( this family had 2 children) saw my son they would run towards us. Every time the mother use to call them and telling them off, telling them not to play with him. Another family father and 1 child. If my son would raise the hand to say hello, at this point the father would slap his on the head and telling him off not to look toward us. It really hurt, I couldn't understand why. I hope that I will never do that to a human being.

In regards to the beard banning. Yes it is ridiculous to ban beards, however as a volunteer firefighter for 15+ years, I can understand the mask issue. Not masks for covid, but we have breathing apparatus which needs to have a clean face seal in order for firefighters to go into structure fires. If you don’t have a seal, you cannot go into a building fire. Those with facial hair in our brigade cannot wear BA and therefore cannot go into certain situations. Makes sense for some to not have facial hair, but to ban beards entirely. That’s utterly preposterous!

With reference to the beard shave. The military used to have to be clean shaven so the NBC respirator would seal to the face. We've had the phone alert test and now the need to be clean shaven for use of a respirator and also some schools doing emergency drills for supposed school shootings which involves getting under tables, something that used to be taught during the 70s during the cold war. The police had good reason to shut those guys down as there were things thrown at the horses in the return to Buckingham palace but fortunately the soldiers were able to contain the horses but it was nasty not to mention cruelty to dumb animals who were doing a splendid job in the parade. If you understood your law, then you would know that Harry cannot spend time in England as it has something to do with his life in the US & he is only allowed a certain amount of time in Britain & he has wasted some of it on the needless court case where he is expounding a lot of rubbish & lies to gain more money. The suit was the incorrect attire for the occasion & Harry should have known better so he bought disgrace on the family from society. I have a feeling the feather & Anne's seating was possibly organized by the palace officials. Apparently at the funeral they sat the couple so that Megan was behind a very large candle & so out of sight of the cameras. They couldn't very well repeat that so they used a large red feather. I also noticed that Harry kept looking at William with daggers in his eyes, so he has a lot of anger & animosity towards his brother. I wondered if William could feel the hate hitting him through the service. If he had looked back at his brother he would have been shocked by the looks of jealousy & hatred. There's a place for so-called "peaceful" protests. Not obstructing the peaceful public. Ask yourself whether anyone should be allowed to peacefully protest about Muslims oppressing women as instructed by the Quran, or committing female genital mutilation. If you say yes, should they be OK to protest during Eid? Likewise I don't think the day of the Queen's funeral would have been the right time for anti-monarchists to obstruct.

TV certainly skews our perception of the ethnicity of our country. I look in disbelief at the proportion of black or dark skinned people that appear in the adverts which seem to indicate about 50% or more sometimes. Just look at the BBC News!
