Looks awesome but may I ask why you nailed into the faces of the board and not into the tongues of the board?

We started doing it that way but felt that they were more secure doing all on the front side. Since we weren’t gluing them, plus we were going to have a row of nails to cover anyways, we just decided to do them all that way!
