I didn’t want to switch from my actual OB, who had seen me for years when I was only at college for 4 month periods of time. Some people didn’t have insurance, PP has funding for the uninsured.

Too many children are "abused" not only in their home situations, but then they go to public school, just to be abused again by Woke brainwashing. Then, they're abused, once again, by teachers, school counselors, psychologists and doctors who want to change their gender via irreversible, body-mutilating operations and hormones. This creates life-long medical costs and a lot of pain and suffering. So, no, it's not usually the fault of the young people. Kids that transition early enough will be sterile. Many trans people have high comorbidity rates with issues like depression, anxiety, autism, etc. This movement will sterilize a group of people that eugenics would have found non-desirable. Sterilization is a permanent birth control. Unfortunately, Michigan passed an ammendment to the state constitution to expand abortions that includes protection for Sterilization of people. So male or female it doesn't matter. PP was protesting that informed consent shouldn't require that to explain to patients all of their options, not sure if they got their way.

Lawsuits are one way, maybe the best way, to end this madness. I worked in medical malpractice, defending doctors and hospitals on behalf of an ins co, and am so glad to be retired. What they are doing is appalling. I do not see how they can possibly defend experimental treatment on children. The children are too young to give consent and their parents cannot give appropriate legal consent which requires being fully informed of risks and benefits when those are unknowns. I'm sure the providers will try to rely upon the legalese in their paperwork, but when these cases get in front of a jury, hopefully millions will be awarded and these practices will stop because insurers will start refusing to provide med mal ins.
