Such a nice setup! I also was nervous about the tabs and transfers, definitely made some mistakes, but I tell myself it makes it more authentic 😅 I've never seen such a Midori calendar before, it looks awesome!

I've just never had the patience (or the time/creativity) for it myself. Kudos to those people who do - they are amazing to look at. Frank I always enjoy your quiet and thorough way of showing something. I was fortunate to come upon someone selling three standard (TC-Thailand) and one passport (Midori original) notebooks for a price I couldn't ignore. They have "used patina" all over them and are awesome-dark brown, camel, navy. I already have a standard Galen leather for planning, memory keeping, commonplace book, and a passport (for my wallet). I was having Travelers Co. FOMO (and you and other folks weren't helping with that-ha ha). It didn't take long to come up with uses for them and I just bought another new camel passport on sale.....The standards will be used for an everything ink, logging, notes, stationary info notebook, a microgreens/ vegetable garden planning/notes, and one for journaling and writing ideas. Passports for playing/practicing with Zentangles and a decorated quote book using my FP's, stickers, washi etc. I'm rather amused that I wasn't quite sure how they would be filled then easily came up with valid uses for them. I now have enough to satisfy me for the rest of my life! I somewhat understand your allegiance to all things TC now. It's taking me a whole lot more time than you to set them up but it's relaxing and I've been enjoying it. I see it as time spent honoring the me I strive to be in 2023!

The pen clip I bought separately. It's from Superior Labor and it's called their 2 pen holder clip. It's amazing! Hi iMai E. Thanks for stopping by. Good old Gorilla Glue. www.gorillatough.com/product/gorilla-super-glue/ That stuff is amazing. I glued that on 5 years ago and that passport TN is in my pocket or getting tossed around constantly. The patch hasn't shown any sign of coming off - even in the corners! Let me know if that helps. Great question. I have a box filled with them although I'm running out of room in that box rapidly. I haven't put much thought into cataloging them other than specific travel journals are bunched together. Perhaps a future video 😅
