Planning and Prepping for Annual Scraproom Crop | Scrapbook Workspace

If you have seen any of my previous crop prep videos you know I like to pack LIGHT! This year the crop is the full weekend and I'm taking projects that are more involved than I normally pack. Wish me luck!

I love to watch how other scrappers prep and pack for crops. Thanks for sharing this! I currently store my stuff by collection or kits and grab the containers to take with me to crops. I like your idea of going further and planning the layouts beforehand. Your preplanning of the sketches and photos is terrific. I go to a lot of crops and retreats. I’m going to try your method to see if it helps me be more organized and create more layouts rather than dragging most of my scrap room with me.

I am going to a 3 day crop next weekend. I’ve gotten better at packing but taking a lot of paper is non-negotiable 😊. I use a rolling file and it works for me. I’m also going to pack in smaller containers and bags this time. Thanks for your info!

You did great with your packing! I go to a 3 day crop once a month, sometimes 2 crops in a month. I make kits too with sketches. I find that the items I add at last minute never get used.

I used to host crops a million years ago (pre-kids) and rarely go to any now. I tend to do more yapping than scrapping, and literally get one layout done, if I'm lucky. I suck. Hope you have fun! PS I am in love with your puppy - what an absolute angel face! xo Vicky

This was fun to watch your process. I always start with page kits too. I always think I can make it with those and a "few" tools, but few turns into many quickly. One year I went to a crop in the mountains and I brought my Raskog to sit next to me since the tables were pretty small. It worked out great and I could fit it in the back of my SUV with about an inch to spare standing up. I have a lot of great travel bags and totes. Now I just need to find some new crops to attend.

Wow. That is a job. My sister's come over to scrapbook at my kitchen table, and I get a lot of excersize walking up and down to my scraproom
