Amy, your "light" cleaning and mine differ slightly...mine is making sure there is a pathway to walk. I have also made the decision not to use the oven so much. We are researching grills now. It just heats up the kitchen too much!

Monica Flitton an alternative to a grill could be a really nice toaster oven that can double as an airfryer and things like that. We have one from sams club and i think it was around $150 but it is amazing. It cooks things quicker than a regular oven and if you have the fan on it on then it can act more like a convection oven. Ive made everything from fries to muffins in it. I like to use more than the oven. It doesnt heat up the house and works so well. Bonus it makes the best personal pizzas or reheats leftover pizza with the crust just the perfect amount of crispy

When we were raising our family, I worked full time. Meal planning was a necessity. To make it easier, each day of the week had a different protein or veggie. M-Chicken, T-Beef, W-Pork, Th-Fish, F-Pasta. It made it easier for me to plan meals. We switched it up a bit, but for the most part we stayed with the plan. Nothing was on-line, it was done the old-fashioned way, Cookbooks! LOL

Mercedes Velazquez it might be easier to buy a chest freezer or an upright freezer cause freezer meals are contagious. Once you get started you only wanna do more. 😂 Then you could do the method of doubling any recipe that can be a freezer meal and eating one then and freezing the other. Plus if you see good deals you can bulk buy and freeze.

You can take your freezer pans that you made for the oven and heat them up slowly on your grill. Or break them down and heat them in the microwave if you really need them or buy toaster oven just for emergency like this and use it. I have one that I have for times like that or for travel and stay somewhere they don’t have a stove or oven.

Your family seems to have so many towels and you seem to wash piles of them often. I was wondering if you only use a towel once then put it in the wash and if so why? I only wash my towels once a week as we are clean when we use them and they don’t get dirty usually. I think I heard you mention once something about your house being damp with humidity and the towels don’t dry if you hang them after use. If that is the case then may I suggest that you pop them in the dryer for a few minutes and dry them off and only wash once a week rather than every use.

I believe God gave us doggies to make our hearts smile. We love our Belle! She's a rescue from our city's shelter. She was/is a project, after having been returned twice in a 24 hour period. I'm so grateful God prompted us to save her, because now, she gives so so much to us. She's been helping me through my grieving from losing my mom in January. We named her Belle, because she's both Beauty and the Beast! Ironically, her middle name is Ruby because she's reddish. 💕😊

I’ve used my bbq for lots of items just adjust your heat, put the burners on not on the side you put your foil dish and you should be good to go. We cook like this all summer at the cottage 😉

I can't cook on my stove either but I have a toaster & microwave to use. Even when I want to cook noodles I cook them in the microwave. I cook cakes or toast I use my instant pot slow cooker.

Amy hi , In the beginning of all this . Yes !!! . I thought I would be able to handle it all . Then when I thought about it I started to over think 🤔 things a little . But then I said get hold of your self all things are better through payer . God will know what to do just pray ? . And I feel so much better in doing so . Wow 😯 it’s amazing how certain things can alter your moods . But you just have to stop ✋ and say I won’t let it get to me !!! . And pray for better days to come amen !!! . So far we all are safe in my area of upstate NYS 🙏☺️ masking every time we go out . My cousin got it . She Was hospitalized for 5 days last month wow 😳 she told us it was awful for her and she said she would not wish this on anybody !!! . It just drained her to no end . She said I thought not me I’am healthy but then it struck her she said like nothing she had ever experienced before . But then she went home 🏡 on doctor 👩‍⚕️ ordered bed rest for 4 weeks . And is much better now thank god . So I’am masking my hole family . I told my husband don’t you dare leave home 🏡 with out your mask 😷 even if it’s only to pick up your meds at the cvs !!! . Up at the corner . And my son I said no going to the Stewart’s ice cream store with out your mask 😷 I feel like the mask warden lol . But safety first in our home 🏡 !!! . Men , they think 🤔 there so tuff some times ? . It just scares me 😳 . It’s no wonder I have gray hair 👩‍🦳 lol 😊 can’t wait there slowly opening back up some of our business ya !!! . But I’am still 🤔 if it’s safe yet ? . We have a wonderful governor who’s all about safety first !!! . Over what our president says . Thank God for that . In the end I believe we just have to all come together and help one another in our circumstances if we can . At the drive thru my favorite one Dukin doughnuts for coffee there was somebody doing pay 💰 it forward and pay 💰 for the one behind you if you can . I said awesome 😎 it just makes you feel good inside to help out !!! . And my order was $ 25.00 dollars 💵 wow that was so super nice 👍 I said bless them 🙏☺️ . I got coffee and sesame beagle with cream cheese 🥯 toasted . My son lol 😊 can eat so by the time I pay 💰 for him and moms order it’s up there . Not complaining though ? . Just great full for kind people feeling blessed . But I agree pay it forward if you can . Why not !!! . Just brighten some one else’s day if can

Hi Amy, you should check out Amazon Basics towel packs. I purchased a dozen hand towels because of covid (so I could one-use them). They were surprisingly soft and good quality for being so reasonably priced!

Seems that some people teaming up and are reaching out to purchase a cow from a local farmer and them arranging with a local butcher to prepare it. Personally, I eat meat so seldom it isn't an issue for me, but can imagine that it's hard on a lot of others. Really admire your flexibility!

My oven’s heating element broke in two the other day after fixing ribs and letting them cook low all day. I’m trying to figure out which part I need to order. I think they sell them on amazon. In the meantime, I’m learning how to broil a lot of things. 😂 And my air fryer is getting even more use. It’s already a family favorite.

I so need to do laundry but my washer decided to quit. If you cant find meat try your local farms. However, you might have to buy bulk from there and keep it in the freezer. Its so much cheaper and tastier to buy bulk local meat and store in a meat freezer when possible. Store bought meat just doesnt have as much flavor

i just realized u got a lot of socks to wash and fold...see if u hav in ur area a washing net...that way socks go in there and they cleaned just the same just dont fill/packed it too much. drying and folding fr the net will save u time.

Hello Amy. So sorry about your oven. My oven went out a couple of years ago while roasting a beef roast. Never a great time. Lol. That will be fantastic if your husband can fix your oven. Sometimes my husband can and sometimes not. The parts are so expensive. Yikes! Your positive attitude inspires me still. I enjoy how you just roll with things and do not flip out. And if you do flip out, you do not show it. You just smile which is what I need to learn to do more. It's a slow process for me. 😊 Your meal planning looks like mine. I use a monthly calendar and write it in because life happens and I can change it easily. I tried computer sheets and not being able to erase and change it is just not me. Lol. I have issues...😂😂 Meat is expensive. I am not eating or making as much. No income so we need to make do with what we have. Groceries have just gone up in price. Life is nuts but we hope and trust in the Lord. He is our strength. Great peace have those who love Your law; nothing can make them stumble. Psalm 119: 165 This is what I have been meditating on since yesterday and plan to keep doing this week. My issues keep escalating and I need to focus on Him to get me through until June 1st when I go to my appointment. Today is a beautiful day. Was able to go for a 15min walk. Will see if I hurt later. My daughter still has me go with her to buy cloths. She is 21 and is short. I don’t mind I love spending time with her. She lives on her own so extra time is a plus. It’s hard to find shorts long enough. She doesn’t like short shorts.

I like my burgers really thin. Many years back I think it was Burger Chef had really thin burgers. That was back when you first could get fast foods. Many years ago. They were so good. Especially since we were new to fast foods. I love to watch Falon on Moss Family. She cooks good foods like you do. Thank you both. 💙

Hi ya Am’s! Lol on the towels! That’s one thing I don’t miss about all the kids being home and me doing all that laundry. Yep, towels were my nightmare!
