Yeaah fun video! Im already preparing for my very first big solo trip to Guatemala, Belize and Mexico in February. Also I've never ever been outside Europe so my knees are already shaky lol. I made a budget overview and I have to save a lot the next coming months but I know it will be worth it. Biggest challenge is to stay away from my saving account tho!

Have a great trip. I've been to Guatemala and Mexico and they are beautiful. Just brush up on a little Spanish and take the basic precautions and you will be fine. The exchange rate meant my budget lasted a long time.

And it sure things change - I had a few journal pages worth of Kenya backpacking ideas for next July but then my friend asked me to be her bridesmaid in her Guatemala wedding happening at that time - looks like it'll be a Guatemala backpacking trip instead! Perhaps Kenya 2020? ^_^

I spent a month in the Philippines a couple of years ago and loved it (and actually want to get back sometime to places I didn't get to, now I have my drone to make an even better video). With the visa limit of 30 days I decided to book my flights in between in advance to make the most of my time (some weren't too bad, others a little more pricey). But managed to get to El Nido (10 day tour), then Coron (my favourite place), Boracay, Cebu and Bohol. And even a month felt slightly rushed for some of that. So 6 weeks is probably perfect. Komodo Islands are high up on my list too. I planned to go last year but managed to sprain both my wrist and ankle in Bali so had to cut my trip a bit short :(

That makes me so happy to hear 😍😍 any particularly good or bad dive shops that you recommend or don’t recommend?
@FranziFrantic6 жыл бұрын
Hey, these is not really a dive shop i heard something bad about. I did mine with Komodo Dive center and it was amazing because also as a dive master training i had the chance to join their liveaboard trips! So when you checking different shops you can ask them if you will also go to the liveaboard cause its a great experience living on a boat for 4-7 days and go diving 4 times a day
@BoStark6 жыл бұрын
Haven't heard about Komodo before, sounds like interesting place.
@FranziFrantic6 жыл бұрын
yes, basically i can summarize that we have a lot of different dive sites with different topography and different marine life. The highlights is for sure the healthy coral reefs, the reef mantas and the different currents you can experience! Komodo has so much to offer and its one of the best places i dived.
