What a fabulous resource for times tables. When I was little, there was only wrote learning of the tables. I can’t remember numbers, so I struggled for years. Finally in 5th grade I had a young teacher who brought in a CD of times tables to songs. I learned them all within a week. I still sometimes sing the songs to remember multiplication answers. All of us learn differently, and I’m glad to see there are resources out there that embrace that.

I know you hear this all the time, but you're rocking this homeschool situation!!! You're making it FUN, while having her learn things she has to learn to be able to be successful with her education! Thank you so much for going over the "extras" you do with your daughter for learning. My son really struggles with reading and math as he is schooling virtually during the pandemic. I have the same books from Amazon and needed the inspiration to get busy with him on it. He is 9 in third grade. I am often in tears as I see him struggle and how it effects his self esteem. The home school curriculum looks phenomenal! She will really be above and more rounded than what our public schools are obliged to teach. So glad you’re including memorizing multiplication facts ...most kids do not know these handily. I also LOVE that you are teaching CURSIVE as well as penmanship. It breaks my heart that our schools are so geared to state tests that teachers do not have the time to teach these basics that everyone needs! I work in a public school and it saddens me to see the skills I believe every child should know are no longer required.

Great job with all you do in Homeschooling! I love that you teach her the basic necessities of reading, writing and arithmetic rather than just letting her decide what she wants to learn as some parents do with the Unschooling method. This will help her as an adult so that she can pursue what she wants to do for a living. She’s lucky to have such a wonderful Mom like you!

Your tea reminded me of when I was in high school (93-97) and offered my new best friend some tea. I move from Florida to Arizona and had never met anyone that was Mormon before. She taught me so much. But the first lesson was about the caffeine. We discovered that celestial seasons has a ton of teas she could drink. She was soooo excited to try it. She loves it to this day. She mentioned it to me a few days ago lol.

Me again! Omg the Times Tales is amazing! Thank you again. Just finished the first video and worksheets and my fourth grade grandson did amazing!! We were even joking that we can “talk in a secret code....threehouse, chair, butterfly....bet you know it to). So amazing. We can’t wait to do the second video. Homeschooling does get easier. You will find your confidence and flow as time goes go. I think year three was when I hit my stride. Also if you run out of time for all the worksheets, reading a book on the topic you are trying to cover, is plenty enough. Audio books are an awesome resource to utilIze when trying to cover it all.

Love the video. The zones are a neat idea and I've tried it but it doesn't work for me. For example, on Sunday past when I had a day off work I decided it was my cleaning day. I was only going to focus on one area. Well I ended up vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washed the inside windows, ran the dish washer twice, baked muffins, cleaned the bathrooms, cooked dinner, done laundry. I just can't do one area, but now its all done for the week lol

I love your zone cleaning and cooking recipes I started doing zone cleaning but I am going one room for a week just to deep cleaning clutter my stuff I found a lot of things that I do not use for over the year and I like the fifteen minutes rules I take Monday, Wednesday and Friday off because I do gym workout and I have to be careful with my low back because I injured my back growing up I gotten by a goat and did a back flip and land right on my lower back and hip luckily I did break my any bones in my back and hip. happy first day of February to you and your family Kimmy
