hey Kristi... I found especially blending cottage cheese the 1% cottage cheese from Aldi, is just as good as the good culture. I drain off some of the whey, then blend to the consistency I want. I also blend very lightly and store in a container to add to scrambled eggs during the week if needed. Actually the macros on the Aldi brand 1% are so close to FF cottage cheese, I do it as zero points. But give that a try also, or if you are blending for dip, much cheaper and save the Good Culture for regular meals. Great ideas and video too... 😀

I will definitely be on the hunt for that cottage cheese at Aldi. I think I've only seen the 2% at mine. But I totally agree! I prefer to actually save the Good Culture to eat, since I love it so much that way. And then just get something cheaper for the dip. I've heard a lot of people say the same about the Great Value 1% cottage cheese, and how the macros are soooo similar to nonfat, they just count it as zero. Thanks so much for the suggestion! I'm probably going to be going to Aldi this weekend so I'll watch for that. 😊

Delicious recipes as always! I love making homemade turkey/chicken sausage for 0 points. I'll make 3-4 pounds at a time and freeze them after they're cooked so I can grab and reheat. I add in onions, mushrooms, and celery, and if I have it, grated zucchini and/or chopped spinach. I season with Mrs. Dash, garlic powder, paprika, sage, onion powder, I put nutritional yeast in it, parsley, pepper. I just sauté the vegetables in non-stick spray or a little broth for added flavor.

Hi Kristi, You are doing some great recipes! I've been somewhat out of it, I fell x2 in Jan and broke both of my shoulders. Needless to say, I also have 2 reverse shoulder replacements. It's been difficult to do anything, and I mean anything. Getting some better now with physical therapy. The pain is undiscribable but gotta get it done. We have a cruise in Nov, lol. I have been watching but I was in double slings for 6 weeks. You're doing great. All that protein!! Take care, my friend. ❤❤

My goodness, so sorry about your fall. Hopefully, you have some help. I watched a video earlier of an actress that fell 10 feet while vacationing out of the country. She survived and is doing much better after a long battle. May God heal you and give you many years to come.
