I am in the last steps of getting my CX-4 running. I got it with a blown motor which is now rebuilt and hung on the airplane. I hope to fly it this month or early next month. Awesome seeing a quality video being made on these airplanes!

Mr. Thatcher let me sit in his plane at OshKosh quite a few years ago. I thought that was the plane that was going to get me in the air. Such a nice little performer. If I recall the fuel burn at 125 is something like 3.5 GPH.

Nice. One question though, he didn't build the kit cause his wife didn't want to be his airbag the CX4 is a single seater, so what about the wife?
@ExperimentalAircraftChannel3 жыл бұрын
Sure. He realized after buying the first "kit" and her input towards it, that he would be flying "solo." Hence now the single seater :-) Thanks for saying hello!

Great build, your a purist, a very beautiful plane. BTW, those are great flags in the background. A real Patriot flying community. I would Love to live there. Happy flying my Patriot friend. Oh, before I forget, I built a Pietenpol Aircamper , Corvair powered.

Please leave all of your politics out of this. This is an Aviation Channel and Aviation topic. We do live in a FREE COUNTRY (for the moment) which allows each and every one of us the freedom of choice and thinking. Thank You for taking the time to watching today. I hope this encourages you in some way to keep flying or to building something one day.
@treasurediver933 жыл бұрын
@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel Just so we’re clear you can let someone fly flags in your videos and that’s considered leaving politics out of the channel, but if someone with opposing views comments on it then you want to leave politics out of the channel?

What happened to the “FREE COUNTRY” part?
@ToyManFlyer11003 жыл бұрын
@@treasurediver93 so just let me be clear...Instead of admiring the craftsmanship, demonstrated ability and perseverance of time,money and effort, you 2 boneheads come here beefing about some dadgum flag....The collective intelligence level of you 2 is abhorrent... Tell you what...Stick to watching cartoons on the Disney Channel...Mite serve y'all better....
