hi friends! my mom gave me a ton of veggies so I could make my own batch of "junk," so I thought I would share it with all of you!
the best veggies to use in this are: potatoes, okra, onion (the PILLARS), green tomatoes, zucchini, squash, or maybe some others! These are just the only ones I've tried lol. Tofu and tempeh are also great additions!

I used to eat raw onions as a kid too. Just straight up like an apple

Omg 😂 that's hilarious. I would eat the raw rings with ketchup usually. I can't bear the thought of it now lol

@CorpseFreeKitchen yeah, real weird food choices as a kid. I'd also peel and eat lemons like an orange. And eat taco bell hot sauce packets

I don't blame you on the hot sauce 😂 but omg the lemons! Did you also love sour candy or was it just lemons? I would cut a hole in a lemon, stick a peppermint stick in it, and drink the juice from it. Idk if that was normal or not but my dentist hated it lol

@CorpseFreeKitchen sour candy too. Turns out *intense* flavor preferences as a child is an autism thing, but those were the days where only high needs kids got diagnosed so nobody noticed

5:14 Just the dusting isn't enough. This might be better if done with a batter, or you could wet the veggies and submerge them in flour and the flour should form a sticky coating.

Lmao yeah in the air fryer it didn't work out very well, but fried with oil it did!

0:51 This is only the second time I've seen chunky tempeh. When did companies start leaving whole soy beans in tempeh?

@@CorpseFreeKitchen I didn't see chunky tempeh until Merle O'Neal did a tempeh recipe a week ago.

3:43 Either way is fine. Americans tend to say "cue-min" but most latinos will say "coo-min." It's really just a preference.... Just don't pronounce it "cuhh-min."

Lmao yeah I couldn't pronounce it that way with a straight face 😂 BUT if I ever do, just know it's because of this comment
