I'm not sure about that... You just can't use dried chickpeas or beans without soaking them in water for many hours first. And that fake butter that tastes or acts nothing like real one can never replace ghee.

Yes it was good in S3 where he leaned into a unique and not often displayed cuisine, but then 4 years later and he's still only making Filipino dishes, I think the judges definitely see that he's not going outside his comfort zone and growing as a chef

@ Making a vegan desert is just technique. Making a savory vegan dish takes both technique and creativity. I’m 45 and have never eaten meat, so maybe I’m prejudice. Saying I’m going to make a chocolate cake, but vegan is just about replacements, etc. Making a savory dish requires so much more thinking.
