Ive got about 7 sunflowers growing 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 they're about to burst into flower anytime now 🌻 ha ha you look after that rake Linda 😆🧑‍🌾 my 4 year old grandson Noah loves helping me in the garden 🥰🧑‍🌾 love the sunflower dress 🌻

@@Feelgoodgardens the tallest sunflower is about 3ft so far 🌻🌻🌻 I potted them on from 4" pots into 12" pots and they just galloped after a couple of days 🌻🌻🌻

Awww thank you ❤️ Slinky onions 👍😂 Isn't it clever how they produce new onions rather than flowers. Looks like they're going to grow in between my newly planted sweetcorn 😂 Happy gardening 🥀🪻🌻

Awww thanks Mags ❤ School is still out about the onions. Doug and Danny believe I planted shallots to begin with but I'm convinced they were onions I'll have to do the experiment again 👍😂 Enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Awww thanks Chris.❤️ I love it when we use our own vedge in meals. That's the idea of it though isn't it 👍😂 Strawberries are coming along but slugs are enjoying them a bit too much 🙄 😂

All looking marvellous linda! The sunflowers will soon shoot up with all this rain & warm weather! Great job with the beetroot. I still think thr onion experiment was worth the giggles. Atleast you got a harvest from them 😊😂🌱 you both work so hard on the plot. It's all coming together nicely now. Danny 🌱

Awww thanks Danny ❤️ I'm so pleased you were ok with me mentioning about the onions 😂 Maybe they were a type of shallot to begin with. I'll have to do that experiment again to make sure it wasn't a fluke 😂 Great to see you today at The Feel Good Garden Café for a cuppa. It seemed ages since we last saw you but it was only Monday 😂 Thanks for the Tomato plants, they'll be coming on a video soon when I plant them 👍😁😂

Awww thank you so much for your lovely comments Joyce. ❤️ I tan easily and only from being at the allotments in the sun. The onions were planted and had a lot of green shoots on them. Only noticed how they split last few weeks as they were planted ages ago. Doug said they're shallots and I said but I planted onions. He said no Linda look how they've split they're shallots. So maybe I planted very large shallots. They did look like onions though so I'm going to try that experiment again 😂

Great video your flowers are beautiful, lovely bunch of shallots too. On the plus side the Carrots 🥕 had some lovely green tops and you can join me in growing micro veg 😁.

Thanks so much Lisa , very positive 👍❤️ Micro vedge, why not, may as well 👍😂 My carrot flowers are coming along nicely, wasn't intending to grow carrot flowers but next best to harvesting carrots. I think I'll direct sow the proper way next time! 😂

Your flowers at the start were beautiful Linda. I really enjoyed this video, it made me really smile. Those onions were a revelation, you had a nice harvest from them too, onions are one of my favourite veggies to grow. My sunflowers are tiny and I've no idea where I'm going to plant them!! Ah well, we always find a space don't we 😊 Take care and lovely job 😁

I'm sure you'll find space for you sunflowers 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 Cheryl on the next plot tried seaweed feed and they've grown stronger overnight so going to try that soon .I have some I made last summer so it'll be nice and stinky now 👍😂 Happy gardening 🥀🪻🌻🌷

😂 🤦‍♀️ the carrots are due to great soil conditions nothing you’ve done wrong. Most root veg radish carrots etc like poor soil or they grow all leaf 🍃. It is finally sunny here and I’m out surveying the damage from high wind and rain 😢 my poor peas were toppled. My spinach all going to seed, chard has leaf miner and I’m on,y growing flowers next year 🤣🤣🤣. Carrot flowers are lovely and you can save seed. Fab update as always Linda and a fun tour. Awww thanks so much Ali, you're a star 🌟 🤩 ❤ I nutured those carrots 🥕 through all weather's and was so proud of their foliage thinking that great carrots would follow and never expected such small ones 😂 Never mind, I'll keep a look out for poor soil 👍☺ Hope you recover some crops after the changeable weather! Carrots when sown in Autumn in a very large pot, over winter in a warm spot, then once spring starrts, move pot outside, then if still growing , but getting hot move into a shady spot, mine goes by the back door to remind me to harvest them.

Thanks Helen, great tips. 👍❤️I think I looked after them too well to begin with and then neglected them later on. I'm going to try direct sowing them soon and try that too 😊

Linda, you work so hard on your lovely plot. Love the variety of flowers you grow. I am growing lots of flowers on my plot- love them. Just created a wild flower patch today with cornflowers, scabious and field poppies.I have made a 12ft x 4ft cut flower bed- hope it works and i get lots of cut flowers. Harvested my Chinese broccoli today, first time I'v grown it, and cooked it for tea together with lovely new broad beans- delicious. I have put 12 sunflowers in, all grown from seed. I hope they do well on the plot as I usually grow them in my garden. Happy gardening 🙂

Isn't it great harvesting your own vegetables and making a meal with them. Happy gardening 🌱😍

Awww thank you ❤️ It looked like an onion to me but Doug and Danny @thegrowupchannel are convinced that it was a shallot to begin with so the school is still out on that one 🤭 I'm going to try the experiment again with an onion though and see what happens 😂

I've Got a few sunflowers on the go🤞 , Linda get yourself some knee pads they're worth they're weight in gold save your knees , I look like "compo" at the allotment but do I care Noooo 😂😂😂
