Justin, before I forget, I need to tell you something. Since this virus started, and especially with my husband living overseas, and my daughter having twin babies, I have held a low grade underlying anxiety. Not so much about getting sick, but about how the fallout will affect my daughter who is a single mom, and for how long it will affect them. I've taken medications for anxiety on occasion, more so lately, and tried all the usual relaxation techniques that Ive learned to do. Everything helps, some more than others. But what I wanted to tell you is that watching your videos, this one in particular for some reason, has given me more comfort than anything else I've done. Seeing you guys do what you do, day in and day out, no panic, nothing out of the ordinary...has done the trick. I cannot thank you enough, because I need to be calm for my daughter. This did the trick. You and Rebekah digging in the dirt, plunging in the creek, milking, cooking, looking for shoes...I cant tell you how much I needed this video today. So thank you. You are appreciated, all of you. If I can ever do anything in return, do let me know. Ive learned so much from you since my little garden of pots on the driveway, now a whole yard full of raised beds that im planning, all because you made me feel like I could. And hear you have made me feel like I can weather this too now. I owe you a debt my friend. So just name your price and I'll be there.

I sure respect Little Miss Lilly and how hard she works. She does her outside chores like a pro and she is just as skilled in the kitchen! I felt so bad for her the other day when Donald took her to total frustration. Still she is right back at it, solving problems and making it work. 💞🥰💞

Hey Justin, when my wife and I potty trained our house dog we hung a small wind chime by the door, down by the floor. Every time we took her out to potty we would ring the wind chime with her paw. it took about two weeks to get her trained to the bell. That was 9 years ago and she rings the wind chime now every time she wants to go out! All we have to do is listen for the bells to ring...

Justin, I think I would take the three chickens that keep getting out and put them in social quarantine (the freezer or pigs belly)! Also please let your viewers know the reason the gas prices keep going down is because they are getting ready to stop production of gas so they can raise prices back up. So fill all gas cans and vehicles, now why it is cheap!

Each puppy is different I have had several puppy s that you had to make sure they peed twice or they would come in and do their second pee. Have everyone keep track of accidents and how many times they peed outside before they came in. Puppy's are a lot of work but that little guy is cute enough to make up for it.

My sister had asparagus planted far out in the corner of the field where I could not find it and the grass was choking it. I transplanted it along the edge of the greenhouse where I can find it. First spear is up but it will need to grow another year before I can harvest it.

Hey dear uncle Justin ;) it's so cool to see you plant your asparagus plants already! We just got our community garden, and I planned a bed for 10 asparagus plants, so I'm preparing it now. We will get the plants delivered (I have to order them about now) a little before our last frost date, so that's another 2 months to go, but hey... now I can see how you do yours :D I was planning on finding out some companion plants for the asparagus, since they cast a high shadow in summer, so the companion plants better love (partly) shade. I never thought about strawberries, but it turns out that I have a bed of strawberries already next to the future asparagus bed... the previous owner put it there, and the strawberry plants have another year to go. What a coincidence... ;) Blessings from The Netherlands/Holland Diana

My town in the south of the Netherlands focuses on growing asperges (we export too much of the word) Asperges are extremely healthy and will grow for 25 years easily. watch Charles dowding's video (from the UK) on great tips for growing them and when to harvest. p.s your farm looks jammin' ! also, ever though about getting quail? Great project for the kids, and scalable.

LOL, those plants don't care how perfectly spaced or deep you plant them. Just don't do it too deep or too shallow. This video was really entertaining, showing real life in having to do stuff and get the kids involved on what would normally be the "day off". I have been going through gardener's withdrawal, and can finally start to see my wooden raised beds emerging from the snow. I need to clean out the chicken shed today and give them fresh straw for their last couple of weeks in winter quarters, plus shovel more snow off the back patio, drain the last water from the hot tub, and get it out of the greenhouse so I can get that set up and ready to start my plants in a week or two. SEEDS!

Three rogue chickens looking to be made into chicken pot pie!...lol noticed there are some pegs for the bottom of your electric fence loose on the ground..at 6:32..lol might be one of the reasons their excaping...After all that hard work, maybe a cold plunge to cool off those sunburns while sipping an adult beverage. Garden looks great, must have rain in the forcast as you didn't water them in. March is going out like a lamb for your area.

Hello, JUSTIN, just a suggestion, since you'll only mostly harvest asparagus once a year, and strawberries as well (unless everbearing); I would put them somewhere off a little ways; they will end up trampled in such a high traffic area, plus it's not something you will need regularly 12 months of the year. I tend to put perennial 1/12 month or 2/12 month plants a little more out of foot, out of way, and further away, unless of course your strawberries are everbearing, then somewhere you walk by frequently.

Hi Rhodes family! thank you for bringing joy to my every day trough your videos! Im a gardener and work with both annual and perennial plants in northern part of Sweden (Arvidsjaur-Lapland-Sweden). Strawberries and asparagus is something we can grow here as well. Im so looking forward to your strawberry field. Just at tip from the coach... Strawberries yields more berries in soil that don't have that much nutrients as you plan. If they get a lot of nitrogen they grow more leafs than berries. If you want Sweet really good tasting strawberries they need potassium. Woodash contains a lot of that.

One thing that helps a pup learn where to go is making sure you take him out often[ from the crate] and to the spot you want him to go in, not very far at first. As he learns pick up his poop with a shovel and move it farther away from your house. Don't pick it up and remove it. He will follow the odor, and ago farther out. Any accidents need to be sprayed after cleaning with odor-out, or an enzymatic cleaner to remove all odor. Crate training helps with this, too. don't allow free run till after he gets out of crate and goes! and after he eats go out right away! Hope this helps!
