Aw, I truly missed this place! We stayed here 3 times when we visited PI. Always enjoyed it. First stayed here back in 2003, honeymoon, we were told the occupancy was full, but we hardly saw anyone at all. They have several pools around their properties, no wonder. This resort was so popular back then next to Shangrila. I know there are more newer resorts built around Cebu, but I will always prefer this place. Thanks for the video! Enjoyed it.

Hey, Chris, this place is awesome and it's incredibly large to room around with a Bicycle. The whole place looks very accommodating to the visitors. I've been to Lapu-Lapu when I was a teenager, but this didn't exist yet. My late Hawaiian born mother's brother live here when he was in the Philippine's Military. We moved here to California with all my brothers and sisters to start a new life and to search for the American dream. Now, it's time to go back and search for the Philippine's amazing places to have some R&R as retirees. I like your Visayan dialect with an accent but that's great that you are learning the language. I like your high-quality videos and you really inspired a lot of people to come to the Philippines. As a matter of fact, people from all walks of life from all over the globe are already there in the Philippines and because of Technology, the news spread fast like wildfires, and I know since I retired from the IT world. Wow, PB is high end and expensive. Shangri-la is another high end one along with a few other ones around that area as Cebu got some killer beaches and resorts. Kandaya resort and Golden Sands up Northern Cebu if you want less people and some quietness. So Chris, how are you fitting in around your area? Other than the traffic (Cebu is second to Manila as the most populated metropolitan area in the Phil) how are you fitting in the area and you finding some new friends there? You seem happy and chill there, leaving the crazy rat race here in the US😅

Good day, Sir. If you're looking for more affordable beaches near Cebu City, there are several beach resorts in the municipalities of Liloan and Compostela, which is around an hour north of Cebu City. Enjoy your stay in Cebu. 😎

If I ever move to PH, an easy, fast and free beach access would be one of my top priorities. Mactan Island initially seemed to have the potential to be the right spot to settle down but the Newtown Beach is not nice and the other option of paying day-use fee to beach hotels is not an option for me. Living in PH and having to pay hotels to swim in the ocean is a contradiction to me.
