If only falafel and hummus didn’t have to have oil in it. This would be the only food I’ve ever eat, Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪

Can they be frozen once they're done?
@nilorecipes3 ай бұрын
YES! If you have leftover falafel, let them cool down completely, transfer them to a freezer-friendly bag, and freeze for up to 3 months.

Yum! Would it work to pulse the ingredients in a Vitamix instead? I don't have a food processor.

Hi Beth, I'm afraid it will overmix; we haven't tested this method. However, if you want to try - do medium to low-speed blending and split the falafel batter into three portions. Then, blend every portion separately. If blended together, I am afraid you will end up with raw hummus :-)

Just out of curiosity, why can't you use canned chickpeas for falafel?
@marybeth6531Ай бұрын
Mine came out very watery and would not stick together at all - I added 4 Tbsp. chickpea flour, still ... don't know what I did wrong but I'll try again!
