Our timing for planting this big berm is not ideal, but we are making quick progress. Fingers crossed this weather pattern changes and we get some much needed rain.

🙏🏻 for rain maybe this weekend! It’s hard to think about planting anything in this heat and the lack of rain is not something we are accustomed to in NC.

I worked on an organic farm here in Nj it was hard work but I loved it💕I am praying you get rain soon 🙏

Even Brie, who seems truly indomitable, can be slowed down by that potent combination of too many bubbles and too much heat. :) It's going to be so beautiful!

Oh lord, I am so not indomitable, especially after drinking one too many 😂

I assume you well watered the soil 'before' digging - yes? I'll have to go back and see what plants these are. Very very very nice project!

Keep meaning to ask, and sorry if this has already been addressed: what are your thoughts on gray water? We live in a condo with a shared water bill but we manage a community garden across the alley. In the very dry periods we save our shower water (a bathtub, not a shower stall) to water targeted areas.

It depends on the products you are using. I don’t use grey water, but my water goes into a septic system in my backyard not sewage

What did you use to kill the poison Ivy? I'm battling it in my zone7b NJ yard.
