I'm just getting ready to plant our herbs and was pleasantly surprised to find this video. You have the same planter box that we bought (Wayfair). We painted ours white. I'm bought less plants for mine. I'm curious how you feel yours is coming in? Enough space for them?

So I was at Lowes today and there was a dumpster FULL of healthy living plants...this company Bonnie plants will not let Lowes offer a discount and comes in and just throws it all away! I really like the few Bonnie plants I have but I refuse to support such a disgusting company...I mean flowers, herbs, veggies....anything made by this company...straight in the trash...it really broke my heart and pissed me the HECK OFF! please try not to support this awful business!

It just looks like garden bed soil or potting soil. Personally for my bed I do one bag of manure, and a mix of potting soil and garden bed soil. And fertilizer to the mix if the potting soil doesn’t contain it. So far it’s been working great me!

Useless trivia: It's not 'an erb', it's 'a herb'. Herb has been an English word for over a thousand years taken from the original French, but unlike hour and honest, the aitch is not silent.

For example, we have 'an hour' rather than 'a hour' because the H is silent in hour which makes the word begin with a vowel sound. So is it 'a herb' or 'an herb'? It cant be both.

As an Englishman, I am always astonished at the rudeness of so many of our Nation. Apologies to all you lovely Americans. I have no issue with constructive criticism, but I do have issues with people who are unable to comment without aggression and rudeness. As we say in cockney rhyming slang, it appears Martyn appears to be a bit of a "Bottle & Glass." ! On a more constructive critical note, I believe it would be more helpful if the video explained the best soil conditions to be used, since as I understand it, it is better not to use rich or good soil for most Herbs. They prefer well drained poor soil ( e.g. like the dry hot terrain so many of them thrive in). Good luck to all.
