Laura, you have no idea just how much you’ve enhanced my gardening skills. I wish I had you by my side when I first got interested in gardening as over the last 34 years, I’ve invested a lot of time and money into plants that just didn’t do well. I’ve honed in on proper plant placement, making “drifts” look so flowing and natural, colour combinations, soil amendments, etc. etc. etc. You are such a delight with your beautiful smile and incredible gift of gardening. I hope that now I can pass on some knowledge to my daughter and my granddaughter that you have passed on to me (and so many others). Thank you my dear.

I so agree! I've been gardening for 10 years and stumbled upon her channel. We just moved into a new house and I've learned so much from her and really pay attention to leaf structure/color etc and I never did drifts before and am so glad I am now! Yay! Bring on the projects :-) I love the Sunpatien series, they always perform spectacularly. Great to see you using a bucket, something that is so much simpler to manage & control than the plastic bags. The bakery departments in our local grocery stores are always so happy to give them to customers & know they will be re-used for various purposes. The 2-gallon size makes a great tool tote for hand tools.

I can’t even tell you how happy I am about my investment in Power Planter augers, 5” and 3”. Got an appropriate drill, as well with a side handle. I have no problems using the augers even in old garden areas where there are roots in the soil. I am in my 70’s. No more digging holes with shovel.

Happy Mother's Day! Last year planting tulips, second year using a drill and auger, drill ripped out of my hand twice and damaged the tendons to two fingers. I saw a hand specialist who taped those fingers together help them heal. It's been 7 months.

@@jadeforestco some people don’t have the space to grow plants from seed. I only start my tomato plants because that’s all the space I have to do so. I would love to be able to start all of my annuals. In my area the annuals cost 4.99 to 6.99 a four or six pack. So I always have to pay the price for what I want in my garden. I like to plant a little color among all of my perennials.

I live in the Southerntier of New York State. My apartment complex has a roof garden with raised beds. Yesterday, March 30, 2024, I found a peach colored impatiens plant growing and blooming in a crack under a bench near a warm air vent! In my area, impatiens are not hardy until the end of May! Regardless of a certain tree farmer’s opinion, I LOVE the interior branching of the Red Point Maples! I planted one in my front yard after discovering them with you guys when you planted your alley of them. Thank you so much for highlighting the progression of your garden as it matures. I absolutely love these plants! Last year we had to trim some of our big trees and our neighbor had a few of their diseased ones removed; of course this changed lighting in both our yards. I appreciate when Laura talks about the plant, lighting, etc and it’s super helpful to see the lighting differences in the videos too.(Great job Aaron) It’s also helpful to learn which size auger is being used…the right tools make gardening even more fun!
