I have a feeling people who have not started to even plant are the ones complaining about how long the video is also at least you are actually learning something aside from spending money on nonsense. I am a beginner and love what they do. I felled in love with growing my own plants due to the corona-virus so... I guess thank you? And thank you for this awesome videos, I sincerely enjoy it.

I like this system of propagating garlic. We have planted garlic directly into our garden but that has not been successful. The drought & water restrictions affecting our part of Australia killed the crop. However, this system allows the plant to develop strong roots & stems ready for planting into a large pot or a garden that can be watered. There is no such thing as too much garlic.

all the garlic died. Garlic needs to be planted outdoor and grow outdoor. The shock of the transplant from indoor to full sun will kill all the plants. This channel is a scam, I'm shocked how many people support it.

@@Altairw its sad you make that comment. I did this last year in southern Australia and the garlic did grow. Have you tried it out for yourself.? I have had workmen two weeks ago trample my newly growing garlic and snapping off green shoots. I thought I had lost it all but now new shoots are coming up from those plants. Hard neck garlic. Tough plants it seems to me.
@tanyawales5445
@tanyawales5445 3 жыл бұрын
@@Altairw Was it significantly colder outside than inside when you planted your transplants? Did you place your garlic in front of sunny window or give it artificial light while it was growing in water so it was making it's own food and not using up all the bulb reserves? You might need to harden off the garlic plants first by placing them in the sun outside during the day when there is no frost and then taking them indoors at night for a week or two first . In a warm weather area that probably wouldn't be necessary.

Why all the negative comments about "just planting in soil and skipping this sprouting phase"? If that works for your situation, yea for you. Step 1. Put a garlic clove in the ground, give it about 4-6" of space. Step 2. Water it. Step 3. Wait. You're welcome, I just saved you about 5 hours of work.

Yeah, no plastic involved. No iron needed for melting noxious plastic. No electricity used. Don't have to water it every dang day to keep the water level up. Much easier to put the cloves directly in dirt and skip the entire rooting process. Might be a good exercise for children so they can see how things grow, but for an adult this is a complete waste of time.

You have to feed them if you want a decent crop. They will also need watered when they’re planted and there after when needed. How much depends on where you set them and the time of year. They’re best planted in a raised bed or a pot like this guy.. keep them weed free as much as you can so that the weeds don’t absorb all the nutrients. There’s more to it than just sticking them in the ground, but they are pretty easy to grow. Make sure you chill them first like in the refrigerator about 3 weeks or so.

Bobos Curse I know maybe they try to find a better way to reuse the recycle plastic bottle But personally I don’t use plastic bottles, and I did reuse all the plastic container ive ever had, but I find out plants 🌱 likes to grow in a land better than containers The container can be a good pot for the starting plants 🌱 indoor such as kale, lemon 🍋 , tomatoes 🍅, etc.

Thank you. I wish I could see the end result. I think I'd use glass, however, because plastic is a toxic material. Not a good idea to grow anything in it or even consume anything that's been contained by it.

what would be the purpose of this. All you have to do it put it in the ground and it will grow, No need to start in water. Just Curious what the reason for starting them is for.

He may not have a garden. If planted normally in small pot like that it may dry out and not set roots. I think its a great way to get a head start. For me a fall planter, I have stuff growing in the containers like beans tomatoes etc til frost. As soon as frost happens I can stick these in. Or I could wait til spring and do this because they are already growing.

If you crop for a living and are not just a stupid sh*t myata, you know that you start indoors early so you will be a month ahead and have better plants and yield. These start and are established before the snow is off dumb donkeys to go throw thiers "in the soul" (soil) So really, you jodidos farm your way and let real farmers who do it show you the difference from a $2 line puta, peeing in peoples gmo factory lettuce.

The only problem with this is those plastic bottles are not recommended for re-use liquid containers. You'll notice they start to "fog"... It's the toxic chemicals breaking down. Use glass or pottery or food grade only. ✌
