I’m 54 years old back in the 70s mid to late 70s i used to dig it with my grandma. And I dug a little bit in the 90s, I’m thinking the price was around 600 a pound. Appreciate this video and I will be keeping you in mind here in the future. A friend and I are considering purchasing some land and have been looking. I know this is something that doesn’t just happen overnight. But we definitely want to learn and want the land to work for us. Possibly thinking about starting out under a greenhouse type setting. While at the same time planting it in the wild. I’m south east of Cincinnati and I’ve been looking at some property along the river. I walked a lot of woods back when I used to dig it. So I kinda know what We are looking for. Appreciate any comments, and thanks for this video. And I have your number.👍

good video. I've been trying (and trying) to grow sang for 3-4 years. Your advise on getting seeds from a reputable buyer are by far the best advise you gave. I've been delayed the most by not knowing a reputable dealer. The seeds i got last year seem pretty good and I hope to have better luck. I will be checkin out your site Mr Colwell and probably giving you a call or email. Hope you have more videos too. Liked n subbed

In my woods in north pa, i put seed in cages and in other spots throughout the forest area. After 6 or 7 years, i cant find anything growing except what was in the cages.

Good Sunday afternoon is it legal to grow ginseng on long island. Do you need a license to grow.

Do you have to rake back all that straw mulch in the spring or does it just grow through? Thanks.

I think it was 2012 when I planted seeds with little knowledge. I figured nothing grew and forgot about it. This year, after getting to thinking about it... I wonder how much actually grew and I been ripping it out thinking it was Virginia creeper!!! I hope not.

Can you please recommend the best place to purchase these seeds? I'm looking to plant now but having a small issue finding a good connection on the seeds.
