I think this video just helped me identify my neighbor’s shrub, after 2 years of searching the web and plant id apps! 🤣 Thank you, Caleb! 💕

Matthew, I love the selections you added to your mom's garden. I planted four Sun King Aralia perennials late last fall because that's when my shipment arrived. The plant starts were tiny when they arrived, so I planted 3 of them out in a shaded area of my yard (in my heavy clay soil). The fourth one was panted in a 2'x4' galvanized stock tank. The only one to survive last winter (zone 5a) was the one in the stock tank. I love the bright pop of color this herbaceous perennial adds, so I will amend my soil before planting the lone survivor out there. I also have tried (for two years) to get All Gold Japanese Hakone grass to grow here, but I'll keep trying until I finally get the conditions right. I have a tiny one of those that survived the winter. I hope you are having a wonderful summer! ~Margie😊💚🐾

Love to watch your videos! What you can grow in the ground is so different than what we can grow in zone 9 coastal inland in South Texas. I love our bougainvillea and our palms, but sometimes it's wonderful to watch other gardens in different zones. I would love to have peonies and hydrangeas, but in the summer they melt! Thank you !

I Love willows of any variety. These are beautiful! I love their compact size and shape. Scarlet Curls Willow is my favorite. I love their curly branches, and it’s a bonus that willows are so easy to root and grow more willows! I love your farms so much! Thank you for the excellent content, Kaleb! ☺️☺️

I just picked up some denim and lace Russian sage. They’re kind of small, I’m hoping they’ll fill in quickly. Love those willows. I’m not sure we can grow them here in the south. I’ll have to look that up.

It is looking so beautiful there at your moms home. I have a question regarding the willows. Do they act the same as old regular willow trees, where the roots grow towards water and create havoc with foundations and pipes? Thanks Kaleb 🤓have a wonderful weekend.

For the Japanese forest grass clumps in between the bushes you said were 4 or 5 years old, were those started as a single plant or a grouping?

The soil in the garden looks dark and rich that really helps plants grow? It looks like there are chemtrails in the skies above Kaleb at the beginning of the video?
