Gorgeous garden! Between “recycling” and “hillbilly dead-heading”, one should not be drinking hot coffee while watching this video. It hurts the nose. 😆 Great video! Thanks, John and David!

Eating anything will cause a mess while watching JL garden. I also have done some hillbilly deadheading - via foot, before. LOL

What I enjoy about John is the unscripted way we go on his walk-arounds: fast pace, wheelbarrow or shovel in hand, the sudden stop and excited cry of "Look at this!" Amazing too that Mr Lord with many years of experience can still be surprised and delighted in his garden! His cameraman (his brother?) may also be the hero since he has to be ready to capture the moment without any scene set-up or staging. How different to the more highbrow gardening shows. It's the perfect complement to this beautiful piece of Ireland - always entertaining, original, educational, and has us laughing at the witty and delightful humour. John Lord is a national treasure.

I was happy to see you “recycling” the weed you pulled- I have been hurling weeds and dead headings over the fence and behind the bushes lately, and was feeling a bit guilty about it . Now I see I am in good company!

That's a gorgeous crocosmia John - want one! I need to split two different pulmunarias, but I'm a bit afraid they might die; the speckled one and a very pale silver leaf, so pretty. And you should wear gloves, around those brambles! Thank you John.

Another lovely video! Thank you =) My Mum and I came down on the Bank Holiday to see the centre and the garden ad had a lovely visit. Many thanks to the staff for the loan of an umbrella (Mum forgot her walking stick) it was absolutely perfect. I hope you all have a lovely rest of the summer and we will hopefully call again next time we head down to Dublin.

Visited your beautiful garden last week on our way to catching the ferry in Dublin after a wonderful holiday in County Fermangh. It was so wonderful to see your garden in ‘real life’ after watching your videos and to meet you and your team. Your garden has given us lots of inspiration for our garden back home in Shropshire, many thanks.

Hi John 🙋♀️my favorite gardener. Yes my hydrangeas are awful this year and last plus there all burned up even with a shade cloth. I’m in zone 9. I might try limelight or something else all together.

I love the grasses and firegrass especially. I do have a question about Eucalyptus trees do they really suck up moisture from surrounding plants or is that just a myth, looking to plant Eucalyptus Gunni near some ants for. Jungle effect thank you John.

Mow and blow for plants makes them all look the same. Removes all the attributes that makes a shrub’s growth habit unique. 👎🏼 to hedge trimmers……except for hedges.
