I guess Chomper will have to be more stealth like and not as full frontal as it could be in the first. Goop can disable abilities and slow movement, so it could perhaps aid as support against Super Brainz and the Z Mech. Hopefully they show a video of what changes and improvements were made to the old classes.

Nah, before gw 1 release the chomper had 200 HP and faster goop recharge, the cactus had 50 bullet mags. The peashooter moved extremely fast ( almost hyper speed ) and the sunflower had lock on bullets.

Maybe all old classes get a huge overhaul? The super brains seems like a direct upgrade to the chomper. And deadbeard seems to be a mix of different classes, scientist. Cactus, and possibly the peashooter.

Badass Bowser Chomper needs to get full damage buffs in my opinion. Without stealthiness, you're a sore thumb on the battlefield.

I fear an attacking Chomper as he is would suck... the moment you reach the capture zone and try to eat somebody him and his big head are essentially a massive target for everyone to shoot at... With no way for him to fight back. How's a massive hulking 'stealthy' character supposed to sneak into and capture the zone... which is the most populated and sought after area of the map which every and man his dog will be bumrushing to?

Are you keeping previous classes playable? I've only seen you feature gameplay of the new classes and say that the chomper and scientist were staying in the the playable section. Would this mean that in the graveyard defense that the Plant heroes would get a shot at any new mechanics they may have and we don't? I have taken a larger look at some gameplay recorded with a GoPro of someone at PAX playing some GW2 with the scientist now having a heal beam. Thanks for sharing this great video!

Look at 2:56 you could see the scientist now has a device on his hand to heal players the same way as the sunflower

+CreativeName7895 This has been known for a long time, I guess you haven't watched any gameplay of graveyard ops. But yeah the heal beam for scientist is now replacing his heal station. Same with the egineer, he is replacing his drone with a turret, like the one used to defend the teleports in gardens and grave yards, although I'm not 100% if that is true. But it probably is because captain dead beard pretty much has a drone and it would be stupid if two characters had drones.

+K0RZA_ GAMING The Turret thing isn't like the Sentry ones from Gardens and Graveyards. It's a mounted Turret that the Engineer hops onto to fire at plants. I think it's like the Zombie version of the Pea Gatling. Prior to Garden Warfare 1's release, Engineer was originally intended to deploy a level 1 turret, but was replaced with the Drone in the end and the old ability became a Teleporter-defending sort of thing. And of course Rose has the Engineer's job in Herbal Assault. I'm really liking the changes the old classes are getting so far - I only see the Scientist Heal Beam and Engineer Operable Turret abilities so far.

so citron has morph ball, super brains shoriuken, hadoken and something poken, deadbird is true final boss from golden sun.

A little summary of the classes then: Imp: incredibly weak but with cool gadgets. Has the most OP skill that turns him into the mightiest of all. Super Brainz: incredibly powerful with both good range and close combat. Deadbeard: a mix between some of the old plants and zombies. Citron: incredibly defensive, can counter the extremely OP robot. He came in like an orange wrecking ball with that speed. Rose: powerful spellcaster with area of effect skills. Corn: "get out of da house Peashooter, Corn's in da house!" aka: a much more offensive version of Peashooter. The old guys: Soldier: could be replaced by Deadbeard, but has a bit more agility and ranged explosives. Engineer: building things n' stuff. Still is the cheap perfect counter for Chomper. But could easily be replaced by Imp. Scientist: can heal his teammates once again, as no one replaces him so far. Football Zombie: alot of health, alot of firepower, this guy stands. Like a more ranged and deployable-based Super Brainz. Peashooter: Citron takes his agility, and Corn takes his offense. Could still be used for a mix between speed and offense. Sunflower: just about manages to stay safe, as she is the only one who can heal. Chomper: he makes it barely, but the team could use a melee guy on the field. Not even Super Brainz can stand his jaws. Cactus: being apparently the only plant with long range and the ability to snipe zombies, Cactus stays in the crew.

I know your trying to show off the classes, but you can clearly see the enemies your stomping (imp class especially) holding back, as there are many times during imps gameplay where the opponent would be able to just kill you, during the imp spin thing all that chomper had to do is bite and you would be dead but they dont, all the citron has to do is put up his shield and actually aim properly, but he doesnt, kernel corn doesnt shoot at all ect

I had an idea for a Chomper class which I call the Snare Chomper. He has a longer tongue and can use it to ensnare and swallow zombies from slightly further away. He can also use his long tongue as a whip and attack zombies without having to get up super close. I'd feel he'd have 150 health as his maximum and might even digest faster if there isn't already a replacement for Chester Chomper
