i just received my 2nd order of herbs yesterday - love them! i have 6 different mints, lemon balm, sage and basils. one of my other favourite ways to use herbs is in flavoured waters. use whatever combination of herbs you prefer, muddle / crush slightly add ice and fruit slices, drink. great way to entice me to keep hydrated.

My goal this weekend is to find a good place for my strawberry, chocolate mint so I can have a “cup of tea” garden area

I am growing my herbs in the bathroom right now. Had to bring them in to save them from the frost. Only window that works in the house is the bathroom. Strawberries, Lemon Balm and Oregano are having a growth spurt. Lavender is started to as well. I also have a grow light for lower shelves.

Something different, it was nice. I like the thought of growing my own tea. Maybe something I could look into down the road.

I'm begrudgingly growing a lot of mint this year 😄 but we enjoy mint tea

I've grown lemon balm and various mints over the years just because I love to rub and smell the leaves. Only ever harvested the culinary herbs until this year. My daughter loves to drink these herbal "teas" so I am planning to add several more plants to my food forest style garden for teas next year.

I absolutely love tea! I have started growing many of my own herbs and flowers. Loved this video! You have given me a few ideas of new ones to grow. A favorite herb I just started growing this year is spicy basil. It is not spicy hot but spicy like it tast like clove a little. It is fun to drink and great to top curry dishes.

I am growing Tulsi this year for the first time on your recommendation and think I will finally have enough for a proper pot of tea when I pinch it this week! Thanks for the suggestions to let it wilt on the counter, I will try it!

Growing lemon balm which I didn't know grew so furiously. Love it. Also growing rosemary. Great on chicken , beef, and in sauces and dips. I really would love to grow tea which is what I use the lemon balm in.

I really enjoyed this video I’m all about finding the right mix of herbs for tea or even smoothies and soups. Thank you for sharing this. Do you find it difficult to get herbs like fresh, organic tulsi/holy basil? I actually did a search a few weeks back and I didn’t realize how difficult it might be to feel confident in what you are purchasing. Any suggestions for places to purchase would be so appreciated. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi! Thanks so much! I have found tulsi for sale both fresh and dried in Indian grocery stores but obviously those may not be common everywhere in the states. As for seeds, check out Strictly Medicinal Seeds, they have four or five varieties of Tulsi and are a trusted company imo.
