I saw a monstera at home depot yesterday for $20 with something like 36 leaves but i knew i didnt have room for her so i came home with another ponytail palm. I think shes been sitting a while and pushing out tons of new growth in that store. I hope someone will find her that will love her like i do lol.

Krystal! I am a new plant mom. I have 5 large snake plants and recently got an algeonoma pink star. When I found her she had like 5 cages on her roots so I replanted now she isn't doing good. Please help

Yesterday I went to my local fish store and they had plants for sale for 10 dollars and I found a silver sword philodendron for only 10 dollars! And I saw a half dead plant with one small variegated leaf and they said they could throw it in for free and later I’m realizing it looks a lot like a monstera albo or Thai or mint. I might of gotten a free variegated monstera!

Congrats on 400,000! Also, your plant lights are a bit trippy on camera! It must be the shutter speed with the way the lights work because it looks like the light is slowly climbing your walls. Very cool how that works. Lol. Anyways, Your monstera are beautiful! I don't have space for a deliciousa but I would LOVE a mini monstera....its on my list.

Awesome video, it always puts a smile on my face to see you geek out to plants. No one in my life understands and feels the same way, so it’s nice to feel like I’m not alone. I’d love if you made a video on pests and how you try to manage it. I have a big collection and unfortunately I’m having issues getting rid of all the pests, seems like I can get it to 90% and then it starts all over again. I’ve tried beneficial bugs, neemoil, isolation, grouping everything together (for the bugs)…. you name it. If I only had a few it’d be easier, but having close to 200 plants in a one bedroom apartment, with a total of 4 windows in the north of cold and dry Sweden really makes it hard to get rid of the pests, and id hate to loose my big collection… but I’m pulling my flippin hair out at this point. 😅

YES! I got my mini at Fry’s for $20 and it was maybe 2 ft tall at MOST.. 5 months later it’s SO tall. I’m so proud of her 🥹

I use terracotta watering spikes to keep my moss poles moist. I’ve worked out the amount of water that I can put in so they always stay moist but only have to look at them once or maybe twice a week but no spraying or anything like that.

With your big monstera growing towards the ceiling, it may be possible to use some heavy duty wire or something and slowly bend the growing stalk down to avoid cutting it.

Awesome to see all of your monsteras! I’ve recently got into plants and I have been so interested with watching all of my plants grow from little babys 😂 I was at a service station a few days ago and its whole design was just about plants! Many were dead but I sneakily ripped of a whole new set of little spider pups so they are now sitting in water waiting to be potted! My parents were very surprised 🤣🤣. I also went to the Eden project yesterday and the SIZE OF THE MONSTERAS WERE HUGE!!! THEY HAD FRUITS EVERYWHERE but they weren’t ripe 😔 I cant believe they take over a year to ripen but there were many big beefs with all of the cacti 🌵 Lovely video to watch im sure I’ll be at the plant shop in know time buying some more!!

Congratulations on 400k. I got my first monstera cutting from a friend as a surprise. Put in water until the roots were nice and large and recently planted it in dirt. Biggest plant i’ve owned so far. I tripped over your shorts a while back and have stuck with you since. Love your shorts and longs and your sweet energy.

Love your channel! I appreciate your knowledge of Monsteras. I do need help....I have a Monstera that was given to me by a neighbor who passed shortly after giving it to us...over 35 years ago! during this time I had lost my wife where I stopped caring for all of my plants for a number of months, but the monstera hung in there. I'm better now and have been watering and taking care of those plants that I have. My problem is that this Monstera is still in the same pot I received it 35 years ago. It is still producing new leaves and I have propagated a number of plants from this Mother plant. It is now heavy and out of control..It is important that I maintain this mother plant but something needs to be done to reign it in .... any advice?

So far I have only one Monstera yet, a Deliciosa (small version I guess?), she lives in my bathroom next to my bathtub and I'm always SO excited when she pops out a new leaf, especially when it has a fenestration

I killed my monstera siltepecana when I chopped it. I wasn't able to revive or propagate it. I've recently gotten into mini phalaenopsis orchids and jewel orchids. Aglaonema, oxalis, tradescantia, snakes plants, and kalanchoe are my favorites. Along with African violets, sundews, and pinguicula. I love how they keep my fungus gnat population under control. The oxalis want to be moist at all times and I found mosquito bits to be a hassle.

Hi can you help me bcz my monstera is having black patches on the leaf, first they are small on the edge then spread and grow larger, they don't have any yellow margins.. I think it's not a watering problem bcz I'm watering it once a week and soil isn't too dry..?

If your extra large monstera gets bigger… try air layering so when it comes time to chop it, it’s already rooted. Mine is growing… I’ve got fenestrated leaves and working on the leaves sizing up.

I don't have a big problem with pest. I'll get spider mites maybe every 2 to 3 years. I put my plants out every year on my Pavillion or front porch. But I do take preventive steps in the fall when I bring them in

Can u help - I bought a monstera and it's been 5 months it hasn't produced any new leaf , is it bcz it maybe was a cutting and taking time to grow roots , or it needs more fertilizers ? Rest I'm doing everything right .
