I’ve got a large ponytail plant that’s getting brown tips? I think I water it enough. Does it like wet feet ?

I would treat the ponytail palm more like a succulent... water it thoroughly and then let it dry completely.. that swollen pase is a water storage unit... wet feet will likely cause some rot over time
