Oh my good lord, I just found your channel again Sir! It's been a very very long time I haven't watched your contents. 'Twas 11 years ago when 7 y.o me discovered your cool gardening channel! I still remember those videos about elephant ears, hibiscus, dragon fruit, Ensetes, and many more xD I thought there's soo many changes since. Glad I stumbled across your channel again. Pure nostalgia and knowledge to me, thank you for making my 7 yo kid loves plants so much. I'm currently taking a silviculture major to bridge my passion in plants. You're one of the cool person that's really inspiring others, I'll let you know that! Thank you for your cool contents, and I'm glad you're still around!! KZbin just beautiful sometimes.

Can you please help me. I just bought a norfolk pine and decided to wash it. So I soaped the branches little bit and wiped them with a gentle sponge. The sponge became all green excessively! The soil too seemed like had some dyes. Can it be some kind of a dye? Or is it just the plant shedding color? Ive noticed the soil had green small balls in it like a fertilizer sprinkles. Is it possible that they sprayed it with a blue fertilizer? Is it toxic? Thanks

This video is exactly what I needed! I inherited an aloe plant from my mother & the stem coming off the side is huge. Now I can separate it. Thank you!

Thank you for this video! I have mine in moss and was letting it dry out, but then watering it the next day. I was concerned for letting it be dry too long, but now know it’s ok to wait a little bit. Thank you so much. Beautiful orchids!😊

My psychopsis is a tough cookie. I’ve let it dry so long that the leaves wrinkle…. But they usually plump back up …. I don’t recommend waiting that long before watering… lol. But like a phal overwatering is usually the cause of most issues

Rain water which Nepenthes use in it's natural habitat contains Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sodium, why do you have to use distilled water and not water from a good filtration system or rain water?

You shouldn't prune when there are flowers just coming out, right? I am in Melbourne, Aus and it's Spring and warming up. I missed the window to prune. Is it still ok?

Great videos Bill. I have two of a large plumeris that is still blooming on 5 branches with an in flow on a 6th branch. it started blooming in late June. Another plant with in flows on 2 branches yet to bloom. I will induce dormancy on the rest of my trees since I live in Chicago but I need your suggestions for these two.

Hi Bill, Great videos! I used to be quite nervous about these plants but they seem to be very resilient! I live in PA, zone 7a. My plants are in big ceramic pots on my deck and are about 5 feet tall ( I prune them every spring to keep them from becoming full blown trees!). In the Fall, once it gets into the low 40's at night, I take my plants out of the pots, shake the dirt off, clip the leaves, and store them like that in a corner in my basement. I have 4 of them and no room to store them in their pots. I've had flower stalks go dormant and then bloom in the spring when I repot them. This year when I pruned, I cut the pieces into 12 inch or so long sections and just couldn't throw them away so I stuck them in a random pot of dirt and put it next to my deck forgetting about them all summer. Well, 2 pieces sprouted leaves! I'm giving them away but soon I'll run out of people to farm them out to LOL!
