It can actually be fun if it takes skill on both sides. With hollow purple and world slash you can dodge them easily if you dash at the right time or get close enough to the user. So it becomes a game of prediction and timing. Mahito's counter looks awesome and you can never be mad at getting caught by it since it tends to be very obvious. I will agree with you on mahoraga's world slash being unfun since if you're raga. You just gotta hope you can get it off before you're hit and if you're the enemies you gotta hope you can get on a wall or. Hit raga which is kinda boring but overall. 3/5 positive interactions is pretty gud

Yeah lol. I love moments like that in this game. It makes it feel a lot more like JJK with all the combat tactics available. That’s probably one of the best ways to use the swap, besides swapping to dodge moves and to help your teammate get combos off in duels.

Okay i got a great idea to buff this move. You shoot blood orbs while charging the move that traps opponents. It has the same range as the move, you can cancel the charging procces via pressing the move again to only use the stun (goes on a half cd) Or if you press R before using the move, you can make the duration longer and turn it around slowly (Like that starrk segunda move from type soul)

I agree as well, however I think you can make the most out of the move as a support attack, if you have a teammate(bonus points if it’s a todo player) that can try stunning the opponent in place while the choso player does his attack or stand in the line of attack as a todo and switch with the opponent right before the attack goes off. His fourth move overall is still situational tho.

Another way that I find to use this move, is outside of a domain, you can use it to break it, since it lasts too long and it has a big & good dmg. So it can break the domain, but also do dmg to the user if the domain isnt for too long, and you use the move before it breaks (srry if my english skills are too bad? ig, i dont speak too much english, thats why)

Yo NoobEternally I was messing around in my private server trying to m1 while using todos special (I was using no stun.) and relized when I used my m1, I still did the clap but it didn’t do the swap. To see if this was intentional or not, I turned off no stun and it is a feature. So if you want your opponent to think you’re going to swap and then trick them just press your m1 button on mobile or your mouse click on pc. The best part about the tricking thing is that using your m1 to quit the swap, it plays the animation fully and doesn’t do the m1 animation.

Simple fix. Make it so that the opponent gets thrown back if they're right in front of you when the clap happens. That way if you uppercut, it holds them down long enough to be hit by the knockback, then that knockback guarantees that the move lands. No need to change the properties or the gimmicks of the move. Just one simple addition, and the move will be usable without changing what the devs wanted it to be.

I’m happy someone spoke on how bad this move really is. For a move that’s supposed to rival attacks such as hollow purple, world cutting slash (including mahoragas) and fuga and it kinda shows how much TZE sped-ran his character because of how broken wing king is yet how disappointing plasma wave is. The most he can do is make it a move similar to genoses incarnate where you can aim it until the last second and I hope he does to make it some justice.

you can actually confirm into plasma wave if you keep a supernova orb from your base basically as long as they dont have ragdoll cancel you can uppercut them, then dash away so that they land back down on your supernova orb, start plasma wave then detonate the orb like halfway through the startup and they will be stunned enough for the plasma wave to hit them before they get up

theres only one way to make plasma wave true with some VERY UNLIKELY circumstances; its to have blood orbs up and use supernova BEFORE using mode, then pop mode, waste the enemy's ragdoll cancel, upper or downslam, use plasma wave, press r to pop supernova to ragdoll and stun them again, ALL while not being hit once so supernova doesn't cancel

Hey, I'ma big fan of your videos and I wanted to make a suggestion, I've already made it in the discord server but I just wanted to see if it would get more traction here plus i'd love to hear feedback from you Anyways here's my suggestion : Takaba (comedian) character concept I like takaba so I'm doing a character concept : so first of all is his R special : Silly dance. You do a dance and then you start to glow (similar to the burst effect) and you gain a charge, you can have 3 charged at once and when you use an attack that attack is buffed. You'll know if you've successfully charged up when on your third charge you hear laughter. You lose all of your stored charges when you get hit. First skill is : Fan fury, wack the opponent around with a paper fan then slam them down (does moderate damage, can be charged, good damage when charged) Second skill : Drop kick, perform a drop kick, perform a variant if you hit 2 again, you wrap ur your legs around the opponent and slam them down (basically yujis manji kick finisher 💀) (does moderate damage, cant be charged, can be used as a combo extender with normal variant) Third skill : fly swat, pick up a grounded opponent and wack their face with a paper fan and wack them back. (Can't be charged, moderate damage, can knock them away) Fourth skill millennia of death do the head splitter stance and if someone or something hits you, you teleport behind the opponent and kick them in the bum doing MASSIVE knockback (can be charged and if fully charged you can counter anything, great damage, amazing damage when fully charged.) That's basically it this is my first time doing a concept like this and if enough people like it then I'll make a ultimate moveset for him.

You can get a guaranteed hit with it by using blood rain, and then using plasma wave. Although your ult runs down quicker, it is extremely effective.

I feel like plasma wave should take a similar path to n's bad omen: let's say it has a 3 seconds of startup. You'd get s either instantly or after ~1 second, and you can freely aim it for two seconds. On the last second, you're locked into the direction you chose, since this move is pretty much a oneshot. After the wave, if either you didn't hit anybody or just by default, you could also have a small recovery period where you're stunned but not invincible, so ppl can combo you if you just used this as a free combo escape (and missed)

I don’t mind the move being as terrible as it is. Ults aren’t obligated to have good moves. They just need to be better than the base, which, even with plasma wave being as terrible as it is, Choso’s ult manages. The only thing that should be changed is the window for interrupting it during the start-up. Since there are already several EASY ways to evade the move, the interruption window should just be removed entirely.

In his current state, I think Choso is the 3rd best character, and only slightly worse than the 2nd best character Mahito. Choso has an insanely oppressive base kit once he gets his orbs via counter or r, but his ult isn't anything amazing aside from Wing King. Give him a better ult, and I think Choso can rival Yuji for the best character in the game.

Plasma wave is basically the world cutting slash/ Hollow Purple/ Wtv Mahito’s super ult’s slaying move is called. It’s damn near impossible to hit but an ultimate ambush and does a shit ton of damage. The only reason it’s that hard to hit in my opinion is because it just one shots. I honestly do think it should be useless in 1v1s just because of that. It fully negates domains, it can destroys an entire group at once. I don’t think it was supposed to be for 1v1s. But for kills in general.

With todo, plasma wave is even more useless. Though this applies to all of the other long startup high damaging moves in the game(except hollow purple nuke), just switching and turning completely negates any need to dodge plasma wave. At least hollow purple and fire arrow can still turn around again and try to adjust their aim afterwards.

I had this idea and don’t know how good it would be, but what if you could press the special button during the windup to detonate some of the many orbs you manifest for the attack? Using this as an AOE get off me before they interrupt it, or to keep people in ragdoll. Of course the trade off is damage due to using your ammo this way. I’m not sure how much, maybe 25 or 50% of the move’s damage.

2:18 this is why Ten Shadows awakening is weaker than every other awakening (besides blood manipulator currently) the fact that you can use normal moves with your ultimate ones doesnt make up for the fact that your awakening moves have increased cool downs so long in fact that you can barely squeeze out great serpent twice in a normal match and three times if you use it instantly at the beginning of the awakening cooldowns with Ten Shadows are long because they are trying to reduce spam for example nue has a cd of 20 seconds while something like shutter doors having a cd of 10 seconds the same applies to the awakening moves max elephant and great serpent have insanely long cool downs at 25 seconds while shadow swarm has a somewhat normal 15 second cd still the fact that you only have 3 moves at long cool downs means mahoraga is usually your only means to level the playing field with a awakened vessel or honored one or even jackpot restless gambler if perfection isnt in its true form then Ten Shadows can usually deal with their close ranged moves but the lack of a fourth move is devastating to ranged characters since they NEED to keep pressure on their opponent so they dont get curb stomped in a close quarters 70 damage combo even more so if the awakening only heals roughly 20 hp which is pretty small all this being said... just fucking add chimera shadow garden already man i shouldnt have to literally kill myself everytime i wanna fight any awakening (and yeah buff plasma wave)

i only use it if my opponent misses their domain, theres a very high chance they get hit by it and it breaks it, amazing against a missed hakari domain

My bad. Either way the point still stands that it has some way to not get interrupted since ranged moves that can hit airborne are very rare while Plasma Wave just doesn’t have anything.

Yeah, I talked about that in the video. It’s good for third partying, but that shouldn’t be all it amounts to. If awakenings are supposed to be for turning the tide of a fight, it makes no sense for a move to exist that only works if you’re not in a fight, hide in a corner, and use it on two people who are fighting each other.
