Plasti Dipping my CTS-V Wheels and Grill

Went all out with the plasti dip this time, did the wheels and then got carried away and did the two grills. Looks amazing though

@@MGMotorsports what about the grill should I leave both chrome? Also what lugs or caps did you have? They were black correct?

I’ve seen some pretty awesome looking black cars with the blacked out grill, I think it’s easy to go overboard on the grill though, maybe I’d leave the chrome surround and just black out the mesh part. And Yeah, they were black lugs, I just jumped on eBay and got some to it would match the color of the wheel.

What a difference the black wheels and the grill looks so good with the red. I hope you don't mind but i am going to have to do the same with my car now..

how has the dip on the grill held up? I painted mine and it started chipping after a couple turnpike trips.

That’s why the dip is so great, it’s rubbery and doesn’t flake off or get very affected by rocks. It’s been holding up very well and still looks like the day I did it, I have a full summer on it so far.
