I used boiling hot water carried down from a second floor apartment to heat up the lines and it worked for years 😂

What tubing did you use? Ingenious idea. Here i was using clamps on a broken line.

The tubing in the kit is made for gas lines

i have never thought of heating the barb itself, that would make repairing extisitng line muck more feasible.

Ask for a fuel line repair kit for what ever model vehicle you are working on.
