I bought a liberty hose winder that has a guide to make the hose roll on super evenly. I bought the one i did because it's aluminum and will never rust.i had one simular to the one you had first and they dont hold up to freezing temps in the winter.

Great hose reel. I also love the zero g hoses, have been using them now for about 7 yrs. The one thing I wish they would do different is to make the hose ends all brass. Using the aluminum is not good when you are connecting it to a brass hose bib or other brass fitting. The 2 dissimilar metals is a no no. Had one corroded onto a brass bib so bad I had to cut it off. I do use the teflon tape on all the connections now that does seem to help a lot with the dissimilar meatal problem some.

That’s a really interested point. I’d also love to see a Zero-G hose with brass fittings.

Another guy with the single arm said he replaced his rubber washers for better quality and had no issues with leaks but on Amazon some ppl have complained so hopefully Liberty or the sales honors the product but I wonder if it’s human error not screwing tightly, using quality washers, tape, etc

Thanks for the great review Boutenko Films - We are addressing the issue with the goose next connection at the reel. When invented in 2013 water hose connections were not as thick and chunky. Does the reel feel too wobbly when reeling in the hose? I kind of like a solid feel.

Can you use that hose wile on the reel? Doesn’t it kink and collapse?

I haven’t bought mine yet but I’d assume you’d have less trouble because it’s wound evenly and not crinkled or bent. Once I get my single arm (I really wanted the red because the double attachment points but it’s $163.57 rn 6-3-24) I’ll come back and comment although I’m a bit late but that’s a good question and I’m sure others wonder the same!
