This is the one I’m going with, I plan on setting a cedar post in concrete and installing! Another guy here on YT recommended replacing the rubber washers for higher quality washers and he hasn’t had issues with leaks. And I always always recommend getting your own fasteners like anchors for concrete or screws (I don’t know why I can’t think of the name but ones meant to hold weight, I wouldn’t suggest your typical screws because it requires a lot of sheer strength because of the weight and pulling on the reel). Anyways hope it lasts a very long time for the price but I don’t know why stores don’t sell these because they’re brilliant and are more functional because of the swivel feature. On your post, I would dig your post up and replace the foam or find a new spot and concrete it. Another alternative most box stores sell are post support brackets that you can pound into the concrete or foam and see if that sturdies it up, hopefully you find a solution. From what I understand the foam will weaken as time goes on and with water or rain it’s not a long term solution. Sadly the foam is sold as this amazing concrete replacement however I’ve seen enough fence posts be installed with foam where the person holding or supporting the post barely moves and it creates an opening even after the foam expands. I wish stores wouldn’t even sell it because it’s a scam

You mounted it pretty high up. Are you happy with that? I just bought one and I'm trying to figure how high I want to mount it.
