Hi everyone! So... yeah, I did a thing. You can't turn back now... you're going to see Mariya Takeuchi's "Plastic Love" on your wall forever now :) Don't thank me :P
Also, I won't bother with the 7 minutes version XDDD
I actually didn't plan on covering this one - it started with me singing it for fun as a demo and got pretty good feedback and people pressed me to sing the whole thing and release... so here I am XD
I just really love 80's stuff and city pop is my new love for the last year - Tatsuro Yamashita and Mariya Takeuchi are 2 of my favorite city pop singers (and what a power couple they are!) and I really love their work (I want to someday do Ride on Time, Bomber and Funky Flushin' by Tatsuro Yamashita if I ever get someone to make an inst for them XD)
Also, I would like to note that I did a double recording on the main vocals to get that effect on the voice - but I didn't time or tune any of my lines (yes, that means I fixed everything manually by singing... except for few fade outs here and there).
So what you hear is what you get :)
Thanks to Meru for pushing me to upload this and drawing this wonderful art, and thanks to my friends in Cypher, Saigen Complex and Merui for the feedback I got on the song.
And also thanks to Koharu doing the video - without you, it would have been a 1 picture video without even subs XD [I literally have no time to breath lately, because I'm switching jobs]
Last, but not least - I would like to thank all of you for listening to my songs and for always cheering me on! I hope to be able to sing more often than the once per 1.5 years.
P.S.: Listen to this wonderful 6751 chord progression on "tanoshimeba sore de ii no"
P.S.2: Listen to me doing the hidden Tatsuro Yamashita part in that same line "woooo~ooo~oooo~oooo~~~~" XDDD
