I just watched it this year noting I just really got into anime. I put this on my list on a whim just cause of a post on insta. That was one of the best decisions I’ve made. This is one of my favorite animes if not my favorite. And this is my favorite op. Every time I hear it it reminds me of the sad ending and I can’t seem to loose the same strong emotion I felt during that episode. One of the most amazing shows. 💛💛💛

Even though this anime can be put under the list of cliche animes with the same type of characters, dialogue and all that stuff it stands out from the rest by how it still is that but even everything more. This was the anime that made me change my mind of how something like this, of how it isn’t as unique as other anime, can be great. This is one of my favorite anime if not my favorite. There’s something to it that just made it so great. Even though you could see the ending a mile away, what the broad story could be, how the characters act in advance, this is still an amazing masterpiece.

Please comment if anybody agrees with me about the anime. SPOILERS Even tHough this anime was IMO hella cliched, and you could see the ending from a mile away, I feel like this was the magic of it, its predictability. If any avid reader has ever understoid the short story An Ocurrence At Owl Creek Bridge, Plastic Memories is similar. You can see Isla`s death from a mile away, but in both the short story and this anime, there is so much happening in between that it feels like they could be alive forever. You either forget her fate or even hope that there is some sort of miracle or loophole in their world that could save them. And in the last episode, you realize your thoughts were wishful thinking.

My god, I absolutely love the style of playing and the emotion you put into this! My love for anime has started to grow over the past few months, and even though it hasn't been long I've been exploring all different types of anime, eventually leading to my discovery of manga. I swear I've bought out half of the manga section at Chapters by now. I noticed what I really, REALLY love about anime is the emotional difference between that and reality, which I find has a bigger impact.. And the music is just OUTSTANDING. I play the piano as well and have been playing for eleven years, and being fourteen years old, I feel like there's so much ahead to experiment with, especially music used in anime, because like I said I think it will leave you with a more emotion impact. Some day I want to be able to play like TheIshter, him being the one that actually had me consider playing anime on the piano. So thank you so much!! You are my inspiration to keep going, no matter how difficult it gets, because even though it may seem easier from far away, I'm approaching the style of music with great confidence! I've learned your arrangements of songs from some of the first anime I watched like Sword Art Online, Clannad, No Game No Life and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei. Fantastic job! I like the fresh use of some new left hand melodies, as well as the contrast between the soft, smooth verses and sharper, staccato chorus. I was planning on picking up this full version as well, but since you've done such a wonderful job I'll be moving onto the next song on my list Also, I found it interesting how you ended on a simple, happier Eb major chord rather than the mellower Db7 like in the original song. In general, I really think the use of Db chord throughout adds a wonderful color to the song that it otherwise would not have.

The ending scene was lacking some emotional OST so i had put on this song in the background right when i started it and ive got to say that your arrangement made me cry whil watching the scene.
