Nice video Richard was wondering are u still in to mego. I just can't make myself buying the new one's. I have even lost on buying the vintage because I think the mego museum or group 🤔 what ever u want to call it had really ruined the fun. I saw some prices on the topps mego it's crazy now I see them less. Wondering if u will do a video on what is happening. I would like to have your thoughts on it. Thanks and again great video. P.S u know anything on a non magnetic batman I have one and is in very great shape and has his flying stuff still sealed in the baggie.

I’ll try to address some of your questions: I haven’t any of the 12” vintage Batman. Not that I haven’t tried. I Just refuse to pay silly prices. I’ve toyed back and forth on doing another new Mego video. Honestly it doesn’t accomplish much. It does feel good to poke the bear once in awhile though. Lol. Yes, I still buy new Megos and vintage. I only buy what I like though. I’m not a hypnotized zombie like the museum and ambASSador freaks. Nice build. A shame with the clear cote that came off, but it looks good nevertheless. I have the snap version of this kit, released i 1997. It's the exact same kit. No differences whatsoever. Even the instruction sheet is the same, including the tip telling you to "Use rubberband to hold doors to body while glue dries," which is a weird tip for a snap kit. It's like the people at Lindberg looked at it 10 years later, when they were going to reissue it, and thought to themselves "Hmmm, it you need to use glue, it's not really a snap kit, is it?" And then decided to reissue it as a skill 2 glue kit instead of a skill 1 snap kit. But in reality it's just a rebox of the original snap kit. Even the kit number is the same: 72712.

I’ve had similar bad experiences with rubber bands taking the paint off as well so probably why I chose tape. It’s not so much the paint as the type of paint. Metallic paint tends to screw me over like that.

Next time use Plastic Weld for the glue ( it works in seconds) and Frog Tape if you need to use tape. It’s a shame but it’s a sharp looking model

I have it and use it for certain parts. Usually avoid using it on painted parts as it tends to run all over.
