My mother had breast cancer twice and other cancers several years later. The first surgery was a lumpectomy for the first time with breast cancer. She listened to family who talked her into not having a mastectomy. The second time she decided to do a double mastectomy. She had reconstructive surgery and needed stretching of the skin due to radiation. They moved some muscle around to help make things look more normal. She didn’t stay healthy long enough the last ten years of her life to get the implants changed out like you’re supposed to. Hers leaked but the implants were probably at least fifteen years old. Its a really scary thing to go through. I don’t blame anyone for wanting to look better or even more normal after health problems. My mom was an awfully tough person.

Bless your mother. At 61, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in both breast. I ended up having bilateral,simple (no muscle removed, just breast tissue) mastectomies. When I learned about the reconstruction options, I decided, with the support of my wonderful husband, to not have any reconstruction. One reason was that both options would mean more incisions, and more incisions mean higher risk for infection. Another reason was my age; if I had implants, they would have to be replaced in 10-15 years, which would mean I’d be having more breast surgery in my mid-70’s. That just sounded all wrong to me. It blows my mind when I see women getting cosmetic plastic surgery…such a risk, and all for vanity. I am so sorry you lost your warrior mom. She sounds like a remarkable woman, and you must be so proud of her. 💞

Im so sorry for your mom. A lot of women dont realize when you get breast implants, they have to be replaced every 10 years. So its never one surgery. I wish more women would be happy with their small, healthy breasts. I know I am!

@@Canadiangrl77 It was the same for me. I highly recommend minimizer bras and compression sports bras that reduce the appearance of size. I was on birth control for a long time which made it really hard to lose weight in that area, but when I stopped they dropped in 2 cup sizes. Working out on your own and not in phys ed is also much better. I hated gym class with a passion. Turns out I just hate sports and running, but weight lifting and swimming is great. (For me)

Had a breast reduction 31 years ago… insurance would not pay… great surgeon quoted me 14k… my mother said I should go to a surgery school for less money… I said my doctor or not going to do it… I won, so did my breasts… they have been just perfect… surgery is NOT a place to cut corners financially!!!

My insurance paid. But my surgeon was awful. I had necrosis in my left breast. I cannot tell you how absolutely soul crushing it is to watch your nipple and areola turn black and literally fall off. He cut out all the dead mass and I had a giant hole under where the nipple had been, an empty hole. Which I had to pack with Dakins Solution and gauze for months until I found an amazing reconstructive surgeon in Georgia who performed magic. And then tattooed a flap they use for mastectomy reconstruction and tattooed it the color of my healthy right breast/nipple. Even after all the trauma, it was still worth it, going from 38GGG to 36C.

Dr Youn is so right about saving money. When I was a child, getting multiple fillings in one appointment, the dentist to "save us money" let all of my pain numbing and sedation wear off... I experienced a lot while awake and tbh I don't remember most of it, probably best. I blocked it out. My jaw was permanently damaged at that appointment and I have such severe dental medical trauma that I can't even walk into a building without severe anxiety or needing sedatives. And since the dentists need a consult with me not drugged up to get sedation, I haven't gone in over a decade.... And tbh idk how to do it without sedation. Even with all of the therapy I'm going through, because doctors don't really respect or listen to me. I'm also chronically ill and disabled. I'm just at a loss at this point. I also have severe PTSD from years of abuse. It's so severe that without meds I will go psychotic and be completely unable to function. I mean I have yet to be able to talk to my cardiologist about being unable to get an echo because it would be too much for me mentally to handle and I'd probably start to have psychotic episodes again. I can't even imagine a dentist.... Idk why I'm rambling about this here. Regardless, he's right, don't skimp on your healthcare.

I'm so so so very sorry My Darling Rose. I to myself had a traumatic experience with a dentist as a child .I'm 30 with 3 broken teeth which is 3 decades of being afraid of going to the dentist. I have severe anxiety from a Burn accident and its soo very hard. I really dont know how im gojng to fix this because the pain gets unbearable at times. I pray for your healing and strength my dear.

I just go to the gym and work my glutes really hard. Lots of hip thrust, reverse hypers, squats, adductors… and the list goes on. I am 53 and have a better butt than I did in my 20s.

I had a gastric sleeve, lost the weight. However now I don't work or leave the house because I cannot get skin removal on my stomach. I can't wear clothes most of the time comfortably. Hey, if the skin is thick ie not like the skin on the back of your hand, this is fat. Try fasting. 42 hour alt day fasts. I lost weight quickly and had sagging skin, but it's all tightened up with 42 to 48 hour fasts. Even faster if u do dry fasts. I do 2 low carb meals between the fasts. I am 52. And unlike low fat diets, I preferentially lost weight off my waist and I am now curvier than before. Actually hourglass now. Fasting is fabulous. Look at The Fasting method on KZbin.

I love watching your video. They are very informational. She can exercise to have a big butt. I just think it pretty frustrated that you spend a lot of money to get your butt done and than have to spend a lot to get it fit again if it wasn't done well. It just it pretty risky in my opinion.

I personally feel that unless it is an ginuine emergency like cancer cases or like breasts are too big for a person to handle smd start getting back aches we no need to have any implants as such . It is scary to think that any foreign substance would be introduced to our body and we would be helpless if something would go wrong. God gave this beautiful life and beautiful body . We need to cherish it as it is and love ourself. Every size is beautiful .

I really want breast reduction because of horrible chronic acute back pain but I build up scar tissue and every single surgery I've ever had has ended up with severe complications(and those surgeries were I needed or would die). Sadly I'm just not a good canidate for any surgery I absolutely do not have to have.

OMFG: I was waiting for the "discount surgeon" to appear. One of the older plastic surgeons at my medical institution told me that, when fat grafts were first used back in the 1980's, the body moved the fat back to where it was taken from, leading to a poor cosmetic result and "pops" (pissed off patients). Abdominal fat was moved back to the abdomen by the body, for example. Further, the results cosmetically in the breasts, for example, left a lot to be desired, because they were lumpy. He also told me about a patient, who amputated the tip of one of his fingers, while using a circular saw. Abdominal fat and skin were grafted to re-form the fingertip, and a decent cosmetic and functional result were achieved. However . . . his body began storing fat under the grafts, just the way it stored fat in his abdomen! This occurred in patient after patient and was a big problem back in the day. "It's not nice to fool mother nature!" he quipped. I can only assume those problems have been solved by 2022. (9:43) I've seen frankensteinian scarring on plastic surgery patients, even 10 - 15 years postop. In this patient's case, I hope the surgeon can put the scar below her bikini line, but he didn't state that as a goal. (10:40) Wonderful cosmetic result and scar below the bikini line. This is as good as it gets imo.

Setting aside the problems with implants themselves (infection, death, deformity), I always think about what this kind of thing would look like as you age. The skin thins, you lose muscle mass, and gravity. I don’t think a butt implant, no matter how well it’s executed, would age well

yeah, butt implants are tricky. There are a lot of risks that come with it but i think injecting fat into the butt would retain a more natural look and as the person ages they would need to get it redone but at least they aren't at risk for an implant complication, like it sagging, getting infected, or getting displaced, etc.

There are butt implants with similar structure as breast implants. Just the shape is different and shell more thick. I had Silimed brand butt implants.
