There was some article in Yahoo, a few weeks ago, about benzoyl peroxide being a carcinogen. I haven’t seen it anywhere else so I don’t know how accurate that is. 🤷🏻♀️ Also, if collagen will not penetrate the skin, why is it in a lot of skin care? Since collagen is a large protein it shouldn’t be able to be absorbed, pure or mixed within something. 🤔 Right?

Lard or beef tallow + heat cooks food. If you put that on your skin and go out in the hot sun, won't you cook your skin? I remember a time my mother and her cousin covered themselves in Crisco, laid out to tan, and had some serious regrets.

The tallow doesn’t cook your skin, it’s not the same as crisco either. Tallow is natural and can absorb into your skin, coconut oil, castor oil are all natural. Crisco, baby oil (mineral oil), sit on top of your skin and concentrate UV rays burning your skin. Not sure what oil is in the butt paste with the zinc oxide but you see here she uses it at night while sleeping. Using at night they are used to soften skin not for tanning so not the same.

1:43 The best deodorant I've ever used in my 60-odd years I've been on this planet are mineral salt crystals. They come in crystal rocks (fluids and roll-ons are also available) that you can sit on your sink (some have pleasant colors and holders) and you merely run some water over the crystal, apply to any offending skin, run under the water anytime it dries out enough to stop gliding over your skin, rinse it before returning it to its stand on the sink and go about your day. There's no odor, it doesn't change the colors of your clothes, you can apply it even to the most sensitive skin (although I us a second crystal to private zones to prevent cross-contamination during the very short trip to the sink) and its simply the best. It kills all germs dead which is why it works! Germs create the bad odors merely by existing ('eating and excreting') but the minerals in the crystal are toxic to them, harmless to us. I'd just keep an eye on dry areas and maybe consider an alternative during dry times.

The only thing I use on my face is sun screen. From watching other clips of Dr. Youn, I keep thinking I should try retinol cream. Something that helps with retinols is to start and perhaps stay at lower percentages. I have been using it for about 35 years. My skin is still very oily, so when I was younger I used 0.05. I switched to 0.025 when I was about 60. I do not have deep lines and only a few light lines. Now, it does not stop gravity, so I have some sagging along my jawline. I’m very glad I discovered it when I did ( late 80s). A lower percentage will still do the job no matter your age and you avoid the drying and flaking.

Please don't push animal derived items, they're terrible for the animal! Snail slime isn't just produced by following a snail around as they get on with their day, they're forced to move over things they'd naturally avoid, like shells and gravel, which makes them produce more mucous for "farming". Many of the snails live a much reduced and painful life, it's incredibly cruel! Humans should NEVER exploit animals in ANY way, least of all for pure vanity!

You dont want to remove odor from armpits. Especially if dating. Might seem gross to many, and by our standards, it is, but we produce a unique scent, all of us. This scent helps attract or dissuade potential mates. Those who are a match to your biological markers will find your natural scent plesant, whereas others find it gross and keep distance. This is helpful because it kind of thins thenherd in terms of appropriate matches. Its not just about looks that matter in reproduction, but genetic diversity and mixing. Perhaps those who find others scent attractive have a better body chemistry than those who find a persons scent to be bad. Scent markers can indicate personality types as certian types release different chemicals and amounts of those chemicals to indicate agressiveness, foods they eat, health, etc. While we may not conciousnessly recognize what individual chemical scents mean, we do know what smells good to us.

It doesn't matter which remedy you use, it only works as well as you believe in it. Hermeticism is right with its physical laws. Everything is controlled spiritually. The "Placebo Effect" or “Murphy’s law” is evidence of this. We create our reality with our beliefs about how we see it. We grow old because we are afraid of it or believe it is normal. We become younger again when we believe that a substance used has this effect. Even without any substance, we can become younger by talking to our body cells and asking them to rejuvenate. The more we believe in it, the better it works. Everything in life works like that.

I’m 51 and I still refuse to use Botox… Am I starting to show some signs of age finally? Yes, but not the kinds I expected. I still have few wrinkles, but I’ve noticed my eyes drooped, which I’m not happy about. My eyebrows are very thin and my eyelashes are very short due to going through surgical menopause when I was 34 (ALL your hair thins and falls out, except on your face, you start growing whiskers). Had it not been for that unfortunate event, I probably wouldn’t look so old around my eyes. They look like my mother’s and she’ll be 75 this year. I won’t fix it… It’s a battle scar, I’ll just deal with it.
