I'm a Marvel Select fan, but for this face off I'm more inclined to choose Marvel Legends. It's closer to the source material than the Select. I own both of these figures, so I can compare them both in person. I only got the select, because I have the Select Green Hulk. If I have to get rid of one, the Legends stays.

It is really close. They're both great figures so I don't think one can go wrong either way, but the Legends is definitely just that much more fun and being a bit closer to the source material as you said helps it as well.
