PLASTICS OUTFISH BAIT, Snapper in 80m+ Offshore Moreton Island.

The stars finally aligned, Darren, David and Brocky and I all managed to get a day off work, and some decent weather conditions for an offshore trip. Shot out to grounds in 80-100m of water, started off the session dripping down a 7 inch jerk shad, and before any of the other boys were rigged up, I manage to land my first rat kingy. The boys were doing well catching pearlies on bait, while I was cleaning up the snapper with a 2 ounce jig head and gulp soft plastics.
