They can't belive this worked?? They literally made an assembly line!!! Everyone had jobs to do, they didn't have to run far to do them, and they (trapped themselves in) didn't interfere with anyone else's job! This was a great way to take advantage of 4 people.

Yeah, they were complaining a lot about some people having very little to do but that also meant it was very unlikely anyone would get overwhelmed, because every step of the process has been broken down into small steps that people can do pretty much independently of what is actually going on in the restaurant.

If allistair wants to encourage people to try new recipes, then maybe have one recipe appear as a x2 on experience gain, and have that one be unchangeable. then you could still add an option to choose your recipe but people will still want to try new stuff as they progress. I think some opportunity for really odd maps, modifiers and challegnes are a plenty as well

Jumping on the back of your idea, perhaps you can spend time 'sweet talking' them (arm flailing at them) while they rush about your restaurant to wave them off without losing a star or money.

Honestly purple all the way is fine. You focus on automating your 1 dish then all other money goes towards cancelling the downsides (like cutlery). It's not the worst idea.

Absolutely have fun playing this game and it's amazing! Small request: make the pause menu selection scrollable both directions. So if I pause the menu, if I go up on my controller it highlights the bottom option. Hope that made sense.

1:38:00 I think being able to reroll would be nice, yes, but it would be awesome if there was some special extra benefit to it - like if you reroll 5 times then it upgrades into an ultimate form. So if you get a hob, research it into a danger hob, reroll it back and forth between safety and danger, then it becomes a special hob that is both fast and can't burn. Investing the multiple days of research gives a bigger benefit. Or maybe implement that but with a bit more of a meta aspect - as you research items, you gain knowledge about them. So once you've researched hobs 10 times in one run (whether you upgrade a hob or reroll a danger/safety hob), then you know enough to always get the special hob upgrade instead.

It would be cool if the chance of getting certain upgrades change if you do some tasks. "If you burn 3 items before upgrading a hob you get a 50% chance its a safety hob."
