【BBCF 2.0】 - Ragna Overdrive Combos (meterless, metered, fullscreen, corner etc)

Yea, its been forever since I last posted a video on my channel, sorry for the lack of activity but yea, there just isnt much to do anymore. Expect TONS of activity here next year though, because Im definitely going IN HARD with DBFZ and BBTAG (expect the usual optimal/practical combos I usually feature on my videos).
This video covers basic Overdrive routes for many different circumstances, like full health, mid health, critical health and meter usage.
CF Ragna isnt nowhere as efficient as CPE Ragna when it comes to Overdrive combos. Taking as an example 5B starter combos, the damage range varies from like 4.2k (NO METER FULL HEALTH) to around 6.5k (100 METER FULL HEALTH). Not much of a big increased per resource right?
At least outside OD he hits slightly harder on certain areas, like ranged meterless confirms and weaker starters. Sure, still nowhere close to CPE's explosive damage potential but hey, it is what it is, the nerf was universal afterall.

Nice video as always Plate! I would like to try these combo routes for my OD routes, but right now I don't have CF in my console haha after I upgraded from PS3 to PS4, I left my CF digital copy in my PS3 and that console is already sell it lol so I'm still don't have the chance to grab a digital copy from PSN, but I hope soon to do it. Ello Platefork, Been practicing your combos. Tried some against a pal of mine. He plays Bang, but the OD into ID (axkick ender) > NE > DC > 3C > HF > Devoured by Darkness wiffs. Specifically at the 3C when swapping sides in the corner. What alternative do you suggest if there's any at all? I've tried swapping in 5C > Carnage Scissors but its not consistent as the 3C > Devoured was. Can't wait what you have in store for DBFZ and CTB.

Maybe doing dash 3C could work on Bang, but on most characters you dont have to. Its easier to drop though. Best and easiest way would be using HF right after NE (DC).

Nice vid Btw could you tell me if this gimmicky thing I made could be workable. It's a corner combo that starts with a 5D(1) fatal starter going into CT then doing from there 5C>6C>6D>j.214D>6C214D>5C>5D>236D>dc>3C>ODc>3C>22C>623D->236C---combo drops here but the last follow-up of Inferno Divider can become a combo starter here. I'd just like to know what your take on this is.

hah, that sounds hilarious actually if you can somehow make the last follow-up in CH then it should be a pretty funny and stylish combo too look at

platefork Well no you just need to have Axe Kick land while still in OD. With lowest amount of health needed to get max time in OD cancel you can get 5.5 more damage out of it without the Axe kick being countehit. Axe Kick a counterhit starter btw will give 154 more damage with the combo of Axe Kick starter>j.C>j.C>j.214C->Followup 214D>Dash Cancel>3C>214A->Followup 214D>Dash Cancel>6B>2D>22C>Dash Cancel>Dash>5C>Carnage Scissors doing 5511 damage. With the previous Fatal 5D combo doing 4944. This is all without Active Flow and only needing 25 meter at the beginning for the Crush Trigger as well.
