Just had this done for tendonitis near my right elbow. No ultrasound, no local, extremely painful procedure. Hopefully it works...

any improvements yet?
@chrisw25214 жыл бұрын
@@Anonomyous-cg1ye No, unfortunately. I believe people generally have good results with this procedure but if I could do it again it would be with a different specialist. I would also find one who uses an ultrasound.

Does the injection typically hurt? Do you cause an injury to draw the blood to the area?
@KT-0003 жыл бұрын
I just got my first prp injection to my left patellar tendon. Not to scare anyone, but the injection itself was more painful than I anticipated. Nothing you dudes can’t handle, but fair warning there’s no numbing of the tendon lol. I’d rather take a needle poke without the lidocaine than another second of them injection lol.

@@KT-000 a serious question tho fam how can that help a ruptured tendon like it isn’t there anymore ?

Do you recommend this for patellar tendonitis? If so how long before a patient would notice a difference? Would prp work for ankle peroneal tendonitis?
@analogaudiorules17245 жыл бұрын
I like how the lady replied to everyone but you lol, but anyway, it can work for peroneal tendonitius, the first shot and sometimes the 2nd wont make big differences, everything i read it can take two and even sometimes 3 shots to start feeling a difference, they usually will be given in like one month or so intervals, especially after the first one ull have to rest for like a week after. I'm going to be getting prp at some point, as ive had petellar tendonitis for over a year and a half now, and faild pt therapy in the beginning, my knee was actually doing better for a few months but just today the stupid lil petellar tendon started getting inflamed again.... the humanbody is a terribly designd oragnism, evolution is mentally challenged... tendons and ligaments are so important yet they heal so horribly...

We’re located in Brooklyn, NY. And you need imaging to determine if you have a tear or not

What is the success rate of this to heal a muscle tear?
@precisioncaremedical5 жыл бұрын
There are many variables that determine success, such as the degree of tear, if the patient follows all instructions following the procedure, but overall we've had very positive results.
