My Daddy fished every chance he got, and when us kids were grown, Mom started going with him. When I was a kid, our vacations were always camping trips to some lake or river, and Daddy and I would be out on the water in his boat before 5 am. I really miss him so much. I am 63 years old and there is a small pond behind our property that is stocked every year. I take my 8 and 6 year old grandsons there to fish. Kids nowadays have a hard time sitting still and being quiet, and learning to enjoy it. We all need that sometimes.

Fishing saved my marriage! When i quick drinking cold 17 years ago this coming October.. i NEEDED something to occupy my mind SOBER.. I went back to my youthful passion of fishing bass. Bought me a used 18 ft bass boat and a property on the river. Now i'm covered in labels on my jersey and stickers on my boat that pay all my fishing costs and yournament entries. That's the first song of Brad I've heard back then. Became a fan instantly. If you enjoy Alabama (Dixieland Delight, Mountain Music and Song of the South are great ones), then his love letter to them "Old Alabama" is worth a listen. 7:11 the banjo player on Brad’s right side was in a group with his brothers back in the 90s called The Marcy Brothers. The record “Achy Breaky Heart” around the same time Billy Ray Cyrus did but they called their song “Don’t Tell My Heart”. Some of their songs are on KZbin. One of his brothers is in this video playing a security guard on Jerry Springer Show hes the guy behind Jerry at 7:19. When Brad performed where they started their careers he let them do an opening act for the locals.
